What a pleasant surprise. We had intended to stay at the B&B across the street, but they were booked and suggested the Driftwood. We feel so fortunate for the change. The Driftwood is right on the water, not across the street from it. The wonderful front porch allowed us to relax and take in the beauty of the lake, the... More

I am 56 this year, and until this past weekend have never just fell asleep under a tree watching the lake. We have our own place on the lake but this was special. My wife and I took the tiny room at the top of the stairs, it was clean, quiet and comfortable. Jim is awesome with breakfast and keeps... More

Our first visit here and we were very happy with it. The owners were very hospitable, the house is well maintained and comfortable, but the best parts are the location/ access to the lake, the view, and proximity to vineyards. A perfect spot for a relaxing get-away topped off with a glass of wine while watching the sunset.

We had an amazing time at the Driftwood B & B in Ovid, NY! The food was delicious and artfully prepared, the rooms were exceptionally clean, and the hostess - Tammy - was very accommodating to our needs. From early mornings on the deck, to kayaking, to evenings under the stars out on the lawn, we could not have asked... More

This is my first time at a bed and breakfast. After my experience here, I feel like I'm spoiled and it will be hard to find one that matches up to this! Jim and Tammy are extremely generous and laid back hosts, and were so accommodating! Jim even made me a different breakfast than the one they were serving! The... More

Great hosts...breakfast was so good!! We had room # 2 had a great view of the lake and since the weather was good we slept with the ceiling fan going and the window open. We could hear the waves hitting the shore....it was awesome. Loved the porch swing and the sunset was beautiful !! Only drawback is that the closest... More

I've been there twice. The first was for a mini bachelor party for my buddy. I arrived before they did, so I took advantage of Tammy 's fresh cookies. I then read on the porch overlooking the lake, the epitome of relaxation. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and then my 2 friends and I took advantage of the kayaks... More

Jim & Tammy are by far the most gracious B&B hosts we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. Breakfast was excellent. Room descriptions on their website are accurate, and the rooms are very clean and well kept.We enjoyed time on the porch with its spectacular lake view and borrowing their canoe for a nice paddle in Lake Cayuga.... First time at the Driftwood but not the last. Beautiful location right on the lake. Tammy and Jim are gracious hosts in their beautiful home. Our room had a great view of the lake and we cooled off swimming in the lake and padding around in their kayaks. We sat on the porch in the evening and watched a magnificent... More

Jim and Tammy are wonderful hosts and have restored and preserved a beautiful Inn right on Lake Cayuga. Nothing like sitting on the porch, enjoying the lake breeze and reading a book. If you want to relax, enjoy a wonderful breakfast and be in the midst of beautiful scenery, there is nowhere better than the Driftwood Inn Bed & Breakfast... More
