Barry and Peggy were very welcoming and accommodating even prior to arrival. We received emails inquiring about dietary needs and other details to make our stay comfortable and they were prepared for us on arrival. Their home is gorgeous, the breakfast wonderful, and we regretted being only able to stay one night!

Barry and Peggy are the perfect B&B couple - warm, welcoming, helpful, conversational, extensive experience. The Inn has been beautifully finished by this couple - numerous collections, comfortable bedding, quiet town, and Barry's magical 3-course breakfasts! This is a lovely "landing spot" to allow you to explore this HUGE natural Adirondack area.

A clean and cozy B&B tucked away in the mountains of upstate New York. We are 'foodies' and this was literally the best breakfast we've ever had, restaurant or otherwise. Be aware that although each room has its own bathroom, they may be on different floors. Ask about this when booking if you have mobility issues. We would go again;...

Lovely home and lovely couple. Great room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic, more than enough. Nicely decorated and spotless. Enjoyable conversation with Peggy and Barry as well as the other guests. Stayed only one night with my wife but will absolutely be back.

My husband and I were on a roadtrip coming from NH to Ohio back in May 2015. I found this place on Expedia for an overnight stay between our destinations. Barry and Peggy were so kind and hospitable! They had food out for us and their dogs were so sweet. In the morning we had an amazing breakfast and a...

My husband and I recently had our first stay at The Alpine Homestead. We arrived rather late, but Barry was waiting for us with a warm welcome. The bed and breakfast is beautifully decorated, well maintained and immaculate. Our bedroom and private bath had everything we needed including a very comfortable, huge bed, warm blankets (the temperature outside was in...

My wife and I spent our honeymoon weekend at the Alpine Homestead and we loved it! Barry and Peggy are an amazing couple who make you feel at home as soon as you walk in their beautifully restored Victorian home. The breakfasts were delicious and homemade.
