Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm and friendly smiles. Elaine and Bunny were very efficient and answered all of our questions and concerns. The location was a three minute walk to the Bay Area and a five minute walk to the beach. It was prime location to all the restaurants and nite life. Would defiantly stay there again

We had an excellent stay at the Blue Waters apartments. I expected a NY apartment to be tiny, but it was spacious, new, clean, and had all amenities we needed. Bike rental and beach chairs are included, so no need to lug stuff or spend extra to rent it on the island. We didn't use them, but was nice to... More

We stayed at the Blue Waters having not stayed there before and didn't know what to expect. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The staff is the most friendly and accommodating group of people I have come across in a long time. The hotel is right off the main drag of town by the ferries. Great location after... More

I've gone to Fire Island for years. I've done shares there and stayed in private homes - all have been closer to the beach and further from town. This was my first time in a Fire Island hotel and first time staying in town. Gotta say - location, location, location. Loved staying close to town and you can't get a... More

My wife and I always stay at the Blue Waters when in Ocean Beach. Rooms are clean, but generally on the smaller side. Be prepared to live out of your bag, since there aren't any closets. Only issue I've found is beds are extremely firm - not optimal for me, but maybe better for others....Rooftop deck is perfect for holding... More

Stayed 3 nights and service was good. Bring a peeler and a good knife if using the apartment. Had all necessities. If the beach chairs are taken go to office hotel. Thy have more there. I would come back although it was pricey as everything is on the island.

I am a little hesitant to review this little gem, as I want to be able to get a room there again! I don't have one bad thing to write. Everything is perfect for a fire island getaway. Go during the week. It's quiet. Peaceful and relaxing. Have fun but save me a room. 😎

Went to Blue Waters for the second time this summer. It was, once again, wonderful. The rooms were refreshed with new linens and the complimentary breakfast surpassed last year with additional hot and cold items to chose from. Cant wait to return!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Blue Waters Hotel for one night this summer. It was our first time to Fire Island and we weren't sure what to expect. The manager and hotel staff were very accommodating and welcoming from the start. We arrived early to make the most of the day and even though check-in doesn't officially begin... More

This was our second stay at the Blue Waters Hotel on Fire Island. We will be back! If you are looking for a spotless, modern, spacious, convenient and super friendly place to stay on Fire Island (Ocean Beach), this is it. From my reservation call (Brenda) to "check in and check out", the owners and staff made us feel welcomed.... More
