I only stayed a night in Central but would be happy to stay a couple more days! It's location is truly central (turn left immediately after passing the Pelican Hotel) so you literally have central Fira at your doorsteps. Having splurged on higher end accommodations in Imerovigli and Oia, I opted for the Standard Double Room at Central since I would only be staying a night. While not huge, the room is reasonably well-appointed and I must say rather cosy! I do have to agree with one of the reviews below about noises from other guests at the corridor such as when they're loud or slam the doors. Perhaps the hotel can remind guests or put up signs about this.

I don't usually opt for breakfast at the hotel since F&B options are aplenty so might as well get out and eat what you feel like that day.

Overall, I had a great stay at Central Fira Hotel and would be happy to return and recommend it for a basic stay.. Special shoutout to the staff at the reception for going out of his way to help with my heavy suitcase! 🫶

We were greeted by Regina who was very helpful. She explained all the details and gave us a lot of useful tips (what to see in three days, atv rental arrangements and arranging early transfer to the port). Hotel is located in the centre of Fira, which is also the main bus stop for all the directions on the island(all buses start and stop here). Breakfast is now served in the rooms, we were lucky to have room no.12 which is on the top of the hotel and has its own little terrace. The only thing is that they probably have a plumbingnissue and you are not allowed to throw paper into the toilet.

We stayed in the sister hotel Cavo Santo in Akrotiri, about 15/20 drive from Fira, you need a car to get around the island but everywhere is easily reached.
Cavo Santo was a lovely small boutique hotel, our room was great, nice a clean, lovely shower & looked over the lovely pool on the ground floor.
Brilliant views & really relaxing & quiet, Chris cooked our breakfast to order out on the terrace every morning & kept our room clean & tidy with fresh towels.
The beautiful town of Fira was only 15/20 drive, & Ora about 45/50 minutes, & the lovely beach @ Perivolos beach 15 minutes away, lovely restaurants within 5 minutes drive , loved our stay here.
Thank you

The hotel is close to Fira bus station, where you can find buses to any other tourist spots. It is also surrounded by restaurants and shopping places. The room is huge. The only downside is that the receptionist only works up to 15.30 only. No one stands by the hotel in the evening. So if you want to store your luggage at the reception, you have to collect it before 15.30.

It's in the city centre. Neat and clean rooms with all the amenities. Bathrobes. Nice and comfortable bed.

Cable car is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And scenic walk is next to Cable Car station.

It's less than 7 minutes walk from central bus station where bus from the airport arrives. Many different island buses leave from this bus station.

Man at the reception was very friendly and helpful. He (sorry, I forgot his name) shown on map important points to visit.

In short, hotel is located near all the important attractions and restaurants too.

Breakfast served in room and is not expensive

Very Central to Main square walking distance. Very helpful people at front desk.
Room was spacious and clean. Highly recommend!
We had to extend our stay but unfortunately could not stay due to availability but they were helpful with transfers to other hotel and organised to pick us up and take us back to airport even though we were not continuing our stay with them ! Rooms cleaned and fresh towels everyday! Loved our stay !!

I'll start by saying that if you have paid upfront for your room, do not under any circumstance allow them to swipe your card in the machine and put in your pin. I've used cash for my entire trip and only used my card at the hotel when we arrived as a "hold" in case of damage, I presume. My card was cloned so had to be here as not used anywhere else. Receptionist was rude and unhelpful and was certain my card must have been taken and used (with my pin) and then given back elsewhere! Didn't offer a sorry just tried to say it couldn't have been at the hotel. Room so noisy you can here everything. They cleaned the windows at 7.45am well what tiny too high up windows we had. Poor food offering and early the bacon and egg tray isn't even hot. Kept having to ask for things to be topped up. They leave your room unlocked after they clean it although central in Fira the location is on the busy road but no taxi can get in so you have to walk your bags up a slope. Not worth the money and card clone ruined our honeymoon. Luckily bank investigating and was picked up quickly so damage could have been worse, though 2 transactions at 500 Euros is hardly light damage. Book elsewhere

We had prepaid our stay through a website and we arrived late (23.00 local time) in order to check-in. We were informed that we have to stay to another hotel (Sweet Pop) for 1 night and then come back to Central Fira next day for the rest of 6 nights.
I was arguing that this is not possible, since I have no interested to check-in and out for 1 night and carry back and forth our luggage or pack and unpack them. They were extremely rude, they did not accept cancellation or refund or any compensation.
We called next time the provider website and they said he have to arrange with the hotel. The hotel was telling us, we cannot do anything.
They were wake me up on the other hotel at 12.00 in order to check-out. At the end we check-out and check-in at Central fira. They told us the ridiculous lie that as a compensation we will have an upgrade to the room. Our room was tiny, that was not an upgrade for sure. There was a small window to the street. Not enough fresh air, too much noise and you can hear everything from the reception (even phone calls).
It is extremely overpriced overall.
I strongly recommend to avoid this hotel at all means.

We were driving from the airport to the hotel. We had some difficulties located the hotel as it was located in a narrow street (or rather alley?) This hotel does not have in-hotel parking facilities. However, there is one free public parking space quite close to the hotel. We checked in in the evening. The front desk staff on duty was friendly and very helpful.

Location wise, it is in the middle of Fira. The room was exactly like in the photos - Beautiful, neat and clean. The floor in the shower room, however, was not done properly, the surface was uneven that it created a water puddle which was pretty annoying.

There was some construction job going on during our stay. I was woke up at 5 am by loud voices coming from just outside of my room. I guess those were the voices of the construction workers who started work unusually early. It was unfortunate that the construction workers erected a makeshift storage yard just outside my room.

This hotel doesn't have any elevator. Our room was located on a first floor. So we had to carry 4 huge luggage up the staircase without any help.

Other than that, everything else was OK.

Dear friend, Central Fira Hotel is located at the heart centre of Fira town, next to the central square. The place generally is very busy, but inside the hotel it's not noisy... Thank you for contacting us.
