I never leave reviews - literally never - but this hotel was incredible and surpassed all my expectations. I’m not the type to usually go back to hotels as I love exploring new places but I cannot WAIT to come back next year!!! Not only was our room so gorgeous and reasonably priced, but you are a stones throw from Firá town centre and the concierge were so helpful in making suggestions on trips and restaurants, especially when assisting me in booking my partner a couples massage as a surprise. The two pool areas are so lovely, a relaxed ambience with the most helpful and friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you’re well looked after!!! The pool has a lovely sociable feel and we made some great friends when we just got chatting to others - I had the most amazing few nights in Santorini and this hotel just topped it off. I will never stay elsewhere in Santorini. See you next year! :)

We stayed at Ayama Hideaway Villa, which is another of the residences Ca Collection group has to offer and it was just perfection!

It is absolutely luxurious and the perfect place for couples to enjoy some relaxation and privacy together in luxurious surroundings.

As soon as we arrived and the gates opened, we physically gasped at how beautiful the place was. Everything in the villa was handmade by the finest craftsman which is evidenced by the excellent finish in everything (my fiancé is a master builder and he was genuinely impressed by this).

There is a lot to be said for having a private pool when you are a couple in love, being able to sunbathe naked on the incredibly spacious sun loungers (if you’re brave enough) and then cool off in the pool before relaxing in the pool jacuzzi.

The outdoor table for eating is only made more perfect by the food that is delivered from Katsaboo restaurant, which really adds to the feeling of luxury.

George and his team are incredibly warm and engaging, polite and professional in every interaction and responding every time to our requests via What’s App. We arrived late in the evening on our first day and George kindly recommended a 24 hour pizza place and placed an order for us for food and drinks which was delicious and very welcomed after a long day of travelling.

There is also the offer of a number of activities that George and his team can arrange for you, horse riding on the beach, jeep tours and massage therapy.

We indulged in a couples massage with some facial treatments and I also had an anti-cellulite treatment which was so effective, I bought the products to take home with me.

The ladies who carried out the massages were amazing, the pressure was very strong but not unpleasant and really hit the spot. It was expensive but worth every penny, especially when you consider they are coming directly to you!

The final mention in this review goes out to the wonderful Babis who delivered our food from Katsaboo, brought the maid over to clean the villa and was even so kind one day to give us a lift back the villa after seeing us walking back. He had the biggest warmest smile and was such a joy to be around and his loyalty and commitment to George and Calm Collection was in abundance.

People in the hospitality industry work so, so hard often across very long hours and I always think when you can see happy staff in this industry, it says a lot about the people they work for. If a company cares about the happiness of its staff, it will definitely care about the happiness of it’s guests and this was so apparent at Calm.

The villa is a 30 minute walk from Fira town (from Google Maps) which feels hard the first time you do it, especially I. The heat. But after the first trip, it gets easier and easier and you will identify your own shortcuts to make it even quicker, like we did.

We truly had an amazing time here and just wish that Calm Collection had hotels in other countries as this would always be my first choice for holiday stays.

Beautiful hotel in a quite location of Thera yet minutes away from the town centre by foot!

We requested a pick up from the port and was picked up in one of their own vehicles (unlike quite a few other hotels who send taxis) check in was straight forward and we were shown some points of interest on the map by the friendly receptionist.

Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and had great bathroom with a stone walk in shower.

Our veranda was nice too except for the fact it was the first room on the right walking into hotel after reception area so had lots of traffic. You have some really great views from the main pool area across the sea.

We tried out their in-house restaurant the Katsaboo on the first night which is really good.

The breakfast was good and had a great selection but no table settings are available as you have pickup your own cutlery and pick your own seat.

Being Greek we often have greek coffee or a frappe for breakfast instead of filter coffee, expresso, cappuccino etc I asked for a greek coffee and was advised it’s not included in the breakfast, so I told him to charge it to my room he replied they can’t I would need to pay for it, I said “I’ve come down for breakfast in my shorts & t shirt, my cash is in the room what should I do ?? He just shrugged his shoulders!! Settled for a filter coffee instead
(Having just visited 5 different hotels on our 5 island hoping vacation in the Cyclades this was the only hotel that greek coffee wasn’t included for breakfast)

Also note Breakfast finishes at 10am (which is pretty early tbh) but on our last day we turned up at 09.50 and there was very limited food available so by the time we poured our coffee & milk, grabbed the sugar, cutlery etc and placed them on the table going back to the hot food section there was no eggs, bacon along with even less availability of other items. We asked the guys behind the counter and one of them advised us they close at 10, I said “but it’s still 09.55, to which he replied “once it’s gone it’s gone’ (being fluent in greek myself I answered back in greek ‘it’s 5 minutes to 10, you’ve run out of most of the breakfast items and you’re telling me you close at 10am where is the logic”. upon being heard by the other kind gentleman behind the bar, he took charge and 7-8 mins later he brought to our table a plate consisting of 3 eggs and 6 pieces of bacon (great, but think he was taking the piss with the qty slightly).

Overall though, We would most certainly return as the hotel itself is stunning and did have some real friendly staff!

The property is beautiful ,rooms are spacious , but I have a few complaints . My tv wasn’t working I had to repeatedly ask the staff to send someone to fix it and the hot tub doesn’t get warm at all. I kept asking if there was a way to control the temperature . Breakfast was ok but not exactly worth the price . Opt to walk up the street where there are restaurants and markets . Highlights : George our driver was amazing he was really sweet and informative about the island gave us great tips on where to go . Elena works at the front desk . She is a gem very helpful and friendly . Demitri the bartender is super nice and made sure we had everything we needed . Cons the owner (George ) came off very greedy . We checked in the first day and asked him what are some activities to do around the island he immediately offered to do a private 5 hr tour for 200 Euros per person , as opposed to renting a vehicle for thirty dollars a day and visiting the island. We spent 40 euro to do our own tour and go to the beaches . He also price gauges on transportation . I prepaid for airport transportation he charged 75 euro for two people for a 8 min ride from the airport , which is utterly ridiculous . Plus an additional 15 euro on going to the port or another hotel . We also asked him for some good local food he pointed us to this winery restaurant Avantis which is nice and pricey and has a very limited menu . We later found out thru Avantis employee that he received commission off every tourist he sends there way . The hotel is really limited on food choices just pizza and salad . So make sure you head up the hill to the market, and row of restaurants that are affordable .

I spent 3 nights here and I loved every minute! Very beautiful property; definitely the most well decorated hotel I’ve ever been to. Very trendy, clean, and homey at the same time. Stavroula at the reception was very kind and helpful, she gave us an overview of the island on our first day and made booking a shuttle very quick & easy (at a very reasonable price too). The hotel was just a short walk away from the main town. The hotel is on a busy street but after walking only for a few meters you can walk through narrow pedestrian alleyways (which were very quiet and safe). I definitely recommend this hotel, it’s a great value for the price!

Such a great experience from start to finish. Pick up and drop off at the airport was arranged prior to our stay making everything stress free. Upon arrival George gave us lots of info on places to eat, things to do etc & made sure we were happy with the room. The room was clean and comfortable with a very big double bed and we were lucky to have a sea view which was perfect to watch the sunrise. The food and cocktails in Katsaboo restaurant were delicious and the service here was excellent. The pool area has a great chilled vibe. George and his team are phenomenal and super friendly. Great location near Thira but with more peaceful surroundings. We even had a send off from the family. I can’t wait to return!

First impressions: Angelina and Maria on reception were just the loveliest and most helpful ladies ever; the room was very small, nice decor; beautiful view of next doors hotel pool and the sea from the balcony; wardrobe far too small with half taken up by a fridge and safe with no where to hang dresses other than outside the wardrobe!; two pools both stunning. Both pools have poolside bar, albeit one wasn't open whilst we were there, but then it was May; There were no breakfast facilities albeit you were invited to eat at the onsite restaurant called Katsaboo. The breakfast menu appeared to consist of a choice of 3 pancakes starting at 8 euros, you could also pay for coffee, juice etc. Indeed, we found the restaurant in the evening overrated, pretentious, and overpriced with food mediocre. The cheapest bottle of red was 40 euros and was nothing special at all. One waiter was so up himself it almost looked like it hurt him to smile. We think he had, for whatever reason, decided we were not his type/choice of customer. Hey pal.... look whose the waiter!! Anyway we chose not to eat there again and had some fantastic food AND wines elsewhere for a third of the cost. Fabulous hotel. Forget the restaurant, far superior in town.

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of June. The biggest highlight for us was Christina and the customer service. She was so welcoming and willing to share all her local knowledge of the island as well as organising trips and a hire car for us with the best rate and for our convenience. The location is good, just a short walk up to the centre of Fira and back down after seeing the beautiful sunsets!

The villas are spotless with good aircon (definitely needed!). There are two pools (the second is not really shown on the marketing) but it’s new and just as nice. We had lunch in the restaurant a couple of days, portions are large & good quality and the salads in particular are delicious.

Breakfast was good with options to upgrade to pancakes, cooked breakfast or waffles. Would love to stay here again in the future and would recommend to friends & family.

The hotel was clean and the people there were working so hard. Our bell boy/cleaner/server etc was working all day on all different, he was serving us at the restaurant while he was throwing the garbage as well... We weren't happy about the situation. At the hotel desk they dont give invoices and they ask for cash but not only for the transfer that they are driving like mad- they dont respect the time schedule and they load the car with so many people- but for their Jeep tour as well. They dont treat people with respect they see you as a wallet and really avoid the jeep tour that they change the rate all the times (probably they think lets try to see what we can take from them ) worst thing is that this is not enough they are taking you to very fancy places to eat so they can eat for free while you spend a fortune and they ront wait for you.. George was takinflg us to a place, dropping us off, leaving us and then we had to send him a message and wait for so long until he comes back.. George is definitely not a good host he is more than a guy he wants to take the most out off your wallet pretending to be a family guy! As for the breakfast they didn't even use fresh eggs they had yhw powdered mix that smeld awful. Nothing to cool the ham and cheese they were staying in the sun changing colours! Let me add that they try to remove my honest review as well something that disturb me. If we can't speak up about our experiences why then we use trip advisor?
You can find many more nice looking places with more decent hosts.

Dear Sir or Madamme, I hope this message finds you well! Regarding please your experience in our family hotel, we would like to apologize in advance, since there must have been a misunderstanding! Our family hotel, never tortures or forces someone to do a job please, the person that you saw doing all these jobs, is a family member who does everything just to keep this family business alive, not only he, but all the members of the family pitch in , in order to continue this family history! We always respect our guests since, our first priority is our guests happiness and we do our best to make our guests feel like home. Furthermore, in your situation please, we had informed you in advance one of the ladies at the front desk is a student who had taken her degree on " Tourism and hospitality Management" and she was doing her practice in our hotel that is why she did not know how to provide you an invoice, but at the end of the accommodation please we sent you an invoice on your email adress, in which it proves that you had stayed with us, as you requested please! George has been with us so many years now, that he has become a part of the family, the way that he makes the people feel like home with his bright smile and magnetic personality is what makes him so lovable to the people, he never lead you to expensive restaurants, he was doing only his job, by dropping you off to places that you had requested. Regarding the breakfast, due to different preferences on the breakfast please, we have upgraded our cusine and we have chosen the option of the al a card menu in which you can order whatever you wish on our family restaurant “Katsaboo”, in really affordable prices, starting from a Greek omelet and ending with the delicious pancakes! We have never threaten someone to delete their thoughts on social media, your voice is what it matters to us, in order to overcome every issue that we face and become everyday better in order to keep this family business alive! I would like to thank you again for your time! Best Regards, Maria Gjinaj

Our stay with Calm Collection in their Evgenia Villa Suites was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect cozy little spot in walking distance from the city center. We had beautiful views, pools and a great bar/restaurant which had authentic food grown and cooked by the family that owned the hotel. Everyone that worked there was accommodating and helped us with anything we needed as well as any questions we had during our trip. We can’t wait to go back and stay with them again! Also our hot tub cave in the room was amazing.

Who ever told you to worry about the ice in your drink in santorini is probably smoking ice themselves. It’s perfectly safe. As for making your own ice, how did you plan on taking the ice to the restaurant? In your pockets??

We had two rooms there and both were lovely. Clean and bigger then i anticipated. When i was looking for a place to stay this definitely appeared to be more updated then other hotels i was looking at. I can definitely say the two rooms we had i wouldn't have considerable old fashion, definitely consider them updated.
