At our request the hotel had a driver waiting for us at the airport, and a young polite English speaking driver picked us up. (15€) The owner and his wife are wonderful people, very personable ànd helpful. The room with it's 10 ' ceiling had a nice view from the windows, and small balcony, (2 chairs and small table were...

What a fabulous hotel, lovely room, great balcony overlooking Fira. Our hosts were a wealth of information and we were in great hands. They were extremely helpful and made our stay pleasurable with their advise and our breakfast was always welcome. Great coffee! The hotel was close to everything, all the restaurants, even the bus terminal.

We stayed 4 nights at King Thiras and we were very impressed with how lovely and smooth everything went! The host Emmanuel was very welcoming and gave us tips on where to go visit around the island. The room was spotless and every day we had our towels changed and room tidied. Very good location, not far at all- maybe...

Good location, away 10 min walking from city. Very basic breakfast, no minibar(no nearby shop so better buy water from city). clean. Owned by family, very kind gentleman. Not comfy bed and pillow. No elevator, need to carry your own cases on the stairs.

King Thiras is a family owned hotel right in the heart of Fira, that we visited in July 2016! When the cab brought us up to the hotel, I was worried that it wasn't actually in the heart of Fira. However, the main streets of Fira area closed to cars, so the cab has to drive up and around. The...

This was a one night stop between arriving from one island on the ferry and flying back to the UK the following day: we didn't choose it, it was allocated by the tour company's agent. We found the hotel scrupulously clean and well run by helpful and obliging people. Sure, the furniture needs updating but it was a perfectly satisfactory...

Stayed in the King Thiras for two weeks and couldn't have been happier. Run by a very friendly family who were always happy to help. Very clean rooms with aircon and a nice view Just a short walk into the centre of fira.

King Thiras is a family operated small hotel integrated well in Thiras' environment. It is very close to Petros Nomikos conference center,. This was the factor that dominated my choice. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, refrigarator, TV, and reliable wifi. Clean towels were provided every day. Restorants are located nearby in Firostefani. The island capital, Fira, is in close...
