The hotel is nice, needs a little updating but nothing to complain about. Room was big, we had 3 single beds (2 pushed together as a queen). Bathroom was ok, shower a little interesting to use but we managed to get it to stay on (with the help of string). Room was clean when we arrived, and maid came in...

This is a lovely hotel in a good location and a great pool for relaxing after a day of sighseeing. The owner is very helpful and friendly too. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was small. The actual hotel area was very nice. The owners were not very nice. Any where you go there is so much dust and dirt that by the time you get back to the room you just want to jump in the shower, which by the way was a hand held head. My Husband hand to hold...

We stayed in Hotel Melina in July and unfortunately were not impressed with the hotel which, whilst cheaper than hotels in the centre of Thira, was not inexpensive. Although the exterior of the building and the pool area are nice, the rooms themselves are very dated. The TV was old and only had a few Greek channels which so poorly...

Just returned from 11 nights at this hotel and it is what it is, a little Greek hotel and the owners give you everything you would hope from a small hotel. The pool area is lovely, there were beds available every day and sometimes we were the only ones around the pool for 4 or 5 hours. The rooms are...

Based on the TripAdvisor reviews, we were excited to stay at the Melina. However, upon arrival we faced nothing but disappointment. We expected a short walk to the center of Fira, but although the distance is short, the area you have to walk through is not good. You do not feel like you are in Fira. The manager, Yiannis, provided...

The owner of the Melina Hotel is super helpful. My friend and I were staying in Santorini and we had a ferry and a flight that were during one of the Greek transportation strikes. He called the port in Piraeus and the Blue Star Ferry line to make sure that our boat was going to actually set sail and arrive...

Santorini, a beautiful island and we stayed at Melina hotel. While the hotel is right in Fira town yet is is located in one of the inner streets which keeps it away from all the noise. The hotel has a swimming pool - a small one though. The rooms are very small and the bathroom is even smaller but clean....

We stayed at the Melina for 4 days in early June, 2010 and were sorry to leave this beautiful hotel. It is a little off the main path, which we liked because it was quiet and very peaceful. The oleanders and hibiscus were blooming and the hotel was clean and very picturesque. Our room had a small balcony that faced...

Myself, husband and a number of family including elderly ladies stayed at the hotel for 1 week for our daughters wedding on the island. A number of other family members were also staying on the island. This little hotel is super, very clean, great little breakfast in the mornings and family run which the family takes great interest in. The...
