Our stay at Iriana suites was perfect from start to finish.
Being pregnant coupled with a late night flight and 4 hour layover in Athens we really appreciated the early check in. Dimos the manager was a great host, he was helpful, kind and approachable, you will be well looked after here.
We were upgraded to the executive cave suite with mini pool and Caldera views, the architecture of this suite is incredible, the pictures don't do it justice! The views are breathtaking, the bed cozy, wifi strong and showers nice and warm, we were very comfortable during our stay, everything was spotless and brand new .Housekeeping were great and always checked to see if we needed more towels or robes.
The location is prime, being both on the cliff and walking distance to everything. The Cafe bar on the terrace does good food and has a great atmosphere, all the staff are lovely and guests of the hotel get 20%off the bill.
I have nothing but great things to say about Iriana, our stay was amazing and I can't wait to get back!

Iriana Suites is located in the heart of Fira, close to the local bus station (allowing easy access to Oia, Perissa, etc) and many restaurants. The view is absolutely spectacular from the hotel and cafe by the same name.

Upon arrival, we were told that we had been upgraded from our originally booked Junior Suite with Outdoor Hot Tub to the apartment suite on the same floor. Despite being a larger room, this wasn't really an upgrade - the advantage of the Junior Suite is that it is luminous and has light both in the bathroom and room, while the apartment suite is tucked into the hill with a darkly lit bathroom badly in need of renovation. The water leaked out of the shower onto the floor and next to the toilet, and the hair dryer would work for maximum 30 seconds before overheating. We immediately brought this issue up to management who said they would look into the situation, especially given the price of Iriana, and that it would be addressed the following day.

However, where Iriana fails in customer service is the approach that the customer is wrong and their staff is always right. While Iriana addressed our issues, it was also extremely demeaning to be accused of not accepting solutions (which were never proposed in the first place). That being said, Dimos, was extremely helpful and offered to move us to a nicer room for our last night.

Amazing view, great breakfast, clean rooms, but recommend that some of the staff work on their customer service skills. As mentioned in some of the previous reviews, it shows that their primary business is the cafe upstairs and that the suites/hotel business come second.

Where to begin. Working in the luxury hospitality industry sometimes makes the picking harder when it comes to choose the right place to spend your holidays in. There are plenty different hotels in Santorini, with different views and different standards. But trust me, this one is a pearl. From the pick up to the drop off, everything was perfect.
We had the chance to stay in the Executive Suite. Private hot tub (with privacy, comparing to 90% of the rooms with jacuzzi on the island where tourists will literally walk over your head), clean, spacious and renovated room and a warm welcome.
The whole team is just so lovely. Dimosthenis, the general manager, will always take from his time to help and guide you throughout your holidays. He has a lot to teach about Santorini and its secrets. Marirena is one of the kindest receptionists I have ever met in my life. Always so smily, bubbly, willing to help and makes the most to provide you with a fantastic experience. Bona from the housekeeping service is so lovely and discreet, always providing a good service and making sure you have everything you need. Andrew and Matthew, in charge of the luggage and the breakfast service, were also always here to help. We, honestly, didn’t have a single thing to say to none of them as we were constantly amazed about how they were always doing more than expected.
The hotel is ideally located, in the heart of Fira which is the best place to stay in order to be in the middle of the island but also of the city center while avoiding the crowded Oia that is isolated in the north part. Around, you will find dozens of typical bars and restaurants, but most of all a stunning view on the volcano.
In fact, we were not sad to leave Santorini as we discovered the most of it. We were sad to leave Iriana and its amazing team. This is a place where you feel like home so quickly.

First Impressions: This hotel is perfectly situated in town, near lots of restaurants, shops, bus and taxi terminals, banks and convenience stores. We were greeted at the nearest stop for taxis by a man from the hotel who carried our bags down all the stairs to the Honeymoon Suite. We had the highest room and we still had to climb two flights to get to the pedestrian street. There were other rooms as far as three flights down (ie five flights to get to street level-no elevator).
Staff: The staff here are fantastic! They always greet you as you come and go, we had a bottle of wine and water in the refrigerator when we arrived, we received another glass of wine the day before we departed. When asked, they made suggestions and helped in any way they could. Housekeeping was prompt and did a great job.
Restaurant: Guests receive a 20% discount and the food is really good. The Greek Salad is second to none, so tasty!
Bathroom: Water pressure is poor and the water can fluctuate from warm to hot during the shower. But the bathroom is roomy enough with space for shower toiletries in the shower and some space near sink for other toiletries. Some times the bathroom smelled like sewage but not often.
Hot tub, patio & breakfast: The hot tub won’t get any hotter than 33° Celsius (91° Fahrenheit) but it’s big with amazing views of the Caldera. There’s a small porch where you can eat breakfast each morning. They give you a list of breakfast options each day then deliver to your room between 8:30am-10:30am (you choose time). Waffles, eggs, cheese & meat, croissants, tea, coffee, juices, toast, etc.
Noise: We were here in October and some nights, especially Friday night, the noise from the party bars was loud and annoying. I was unable to sleep until it ended (12:30am-1am) even with earplugs so don’t stay here if you are a light sleeper or want peace and quiet. The restaurant is directly above the Honeymoon Suite so we could frequently hear chairs and tables being moved across the floor (our ceiling).
Other: The air conditioning works great and is a welcome relief when it’s hot outside and when the west sun comes in the room in the afternoon. There wasn’t a headboard for the bed nor a wall behind it and there was only one chair in the room (two on the porch) so it was hard to sit anywhere comfortably with back support while relaxing in the room.

I cannot recommend this accommodation enough!! I was sceptical about what this accommodation would be like after seeing the stunning photos online but also seeing the very reasonable prices. We were absolutely blown away by the accommodation and it was a highlight of our two weeks trip around the Greek Islands. The staff were super helpful, quick to respond and so friendly. The location is simply MIND BLOWING!! You will not be able to stop taking photos. Yes there are lots of stairs to navigate but thats Santorin and made the views from our hot tub so stunning! We booked the standard apartment, while the room itself is quite basic, it had everything we needed and I think this hot tub had the best location of all the rooms! While the room and the hot tub were on different levels and not connected, the views during the day and night are breath taking. Breakfast is served on the terrace and was lovely. I cannot recommend this accommodation enough, the prices are amazing and it will be a stay to remember forever!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon with Iriana suites. They made this experience very special and detailed. Through the stay they were very helpful and went above and beyond for our needs from delivering a small breakfast the night before our very early flight, wonderful room service, always incredibly friendly, and helped to schedule cab rides to and from the airport to make it that much smoother.

Given this is also very central in Fira - it made walking around to shop and find places to eat very easy! Fira was also the hub for all buses so going up to Oia or other parts of the island was a quick 2-3 minute walk to the depo from the hotel.

I can’t fault Iriana Suites at all, everything about our stay was perfect.

The staff treat you like VIPs. Dimos and Marirena really looked after us, giving us tips on Santorini and helping us to sort out taxis.

When we arrived we were given a welcome drink of our choice. The cocktails here are fantastic, we particularly recommend the mojitos and pina coladas.

The breakfast is delicious. The coffee is perfect. We were asked to fill a breakfast form each night with what we wanted and what time we wanted breakfast to be delivered to our door.

We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, room 101. Our room was decorated to a very high standard with an amazing jacuzzi pool on our balcony overlooking the caldera.

There’s no parking as the street is pedestrianised. If you’re renting a car like we did, we parked in ‘Parking 3’ which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It’s free and there are many spaces.

Our balcony was very private and not overlooked at all.

Dimos was very helpful and accommodating when our plans changed due to COVID-19 restrictions, for which we were very grateful.

The hotel is located in the centre of Fira, with lots of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Yet at the same time it was still very peaceful and quiet.

We will definitely stay again next time we visit Santorini. We would recommend Iriana Suites to anyone.

Thanks again for making our stay in Santorini perfect.

Matt & Jess

Iriana Suites was a fantastic place to stay!!! My husband and I stayed in the Executive suite, and we couldn't have asked for a cooler spot. Yes, it's expensive, but everything is expensive in Santorini, and considering the amazing views, breakfast we were served in the morning at our door, our heated pool, spacious room, and excellent service, we feel like we had an amazing experience. Something like this would have cost us double if we had stayed in Oia! Additionally, we got 20% off at the Cafe for staying in one of the rooms, and we got our first two cocktails for free. Overall, would definitely recommend.

From the minute we arrived and were greeted with free beer and wine, to the minute we left after enjoying a complimentary fantastic breakfast, we were very pleased with our stay here. The staff is extremely kind and helpful in accommodating any request you had. The room itself was great with a private pool, stellar views, and comfortable bed/pillow.

There is a restaurant that is part of the hotel that the staff helps operate, one night we came back to have an after dinner drink and there were no seating. The staff created a makeshift table and let us sit and enjoy one last drink (espresso martini, that is not on the menu but is a must order) before coming down to bed.

The views of course were phenomenal, we watched the sunset from our balcony with some wine and you’ll never see a more beautiful sunset anywhere in the world.

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

My wife and I came here for a belated honeymoon and it did not disappoint us. The room, facilities and views were just spectacular. Staff were so welcoming and friendly throughout our entire stay. Customer service was just amazing. Special mention to Marirena who took good care of us and was a pleasure to talk to. Breakfast on the balcony was just amazing, peaceful, and surreal. Watching the sunset from our hot tub whilst sipping one of the hotels signature cocktails was also just perfect. Honeymoon suite came with complete privacy on balcony and hot tub which isn't so easy to find in the area! Memories and photos to last a lifetime. Perfect location, walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants and staff were more than happy to recommend some hidden gems to check out. Perfect holiday.
