Santorini is an amazing place and this hotel is no exception in fact it exceeds expectations and complements the majestic experience of the Caldera. Wonderful views, superb facilitates and above all the nicest staff on earth. The doorman, the maintenance guys, the contracted drivers, driver/tour guides, housekeepers, reception, wait staff and chef the best! I love you guys.
We have stayed there for 4 nights arrinving Sep 20. and wendete flashed! What a great place! Perfectly hidden right in the center of Oia! We were speechless after the door to this secret has been opened. We had the honeymoon suite. Perfect view on the volcano, the caldera and the sea. The room is very stylish and in two floors. Sunbeds and Jacuzzi in the Terrace. We had a weclcome bottle of sparkling wine on top of the welcome drink. The pool is small but big enough and the pool area offers great views. Nothing in front of the sea and the views. The breakfast is served and has a huge variety of also healthy items! Very tasteful though. Service? Outstanding! Everyone was very friendly and attentive! They seemed to really live their job and you could feel that. You can walk everywhere easily. Shops, Restaurants, Sunset view (they have their own private spot on a terrace 7min away). We benefited from the fact that the cruise ships are out of order these days so we could enjoy this beautiful place and village without the usual crowds. Honestly, we would not recommend any other place than Aspaki in Oia. And trust us, we compared many before we finally booked the best place to be. A dream! Thanks to the whole team! Also for their wine and restaurant recommendations! …
You can say it’s the breathtaking view or the amazing quality of the hotel and the service that is outstanding. But it’s actually the staff who makes the stay in this hotel unforgettable! Never experienced that level of friendliness and service in a hotel before. Thank You!! We will be back!
Summary: We go on international vacation 3x/year from Northern California, and given the distance/time/expense, we try to vet hotels heavily for service, location and ease of access, and amenities. If Aspaki is within your budget, it is a wonderful place to spend your days in Santorini. I personally found Santorini a little underwhelming, which is why we spent so much time at this hotel. We just stayed at Aspaki for 6 days (coming from the Alps), and had a magnificent time. April is such a great shoulder season. There were repairs to the hotel, making occasional walks treacherous, but the staff did their best to make sure the paths were well lit and we almost always had someone greeting us by the front door. The hotel arranged for our airport transfer (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). There are few taxis on the island, so planning ahead for your transport is important. Despite our late arrival (10PM!) we were checked in quickly, even given welcome drinks by Evie and Stella (more on them later). The sheets and towels are INCREDIBLE. My husband wanted to pack the towels and sheets to take home because we slept so well. Breakfast was great (light breakfast aka no bacon etc, greek yogurt, fruit, pastries- all delicious. You can order breakfast to room, plus room service menu is available until 10PM) room is great (105), has private plunge pool because communal pool (not infinity) is quite small. Lots of steps, but I all hotels in Oia have lots of steps because they are on the cliffside. The further down your room is, the fewer tourists you will hear. Restaurant is good, we had dinner and were seated at a wonderful table as the sun was setting. The Lamb Shank is the best we’ve had (usually they are cooked to disintegration), but this one was tender and juicy. The view of the sunset from our room was already wonderful, but my husband did book sunset viewings at Oia Castle (the sister hotel) in advance to get an even better view of the sunset. All the other reviews are correct, this is SUCH a great perk. Daily turndown and room cleaning and fridge stocking was always on point, their laundry service was quick. Bathroom amenities were perfect, you don’t have to pack anything extra. On one day, there was a windstorm and staff worked endlessly to make sure all the outdoor areas were clean (power washing, sweeping, wiping tables) in crazy winds!! Despite the electricity coming in and out because of the storm (btw, nobody’s fault), the staff kept checking on us to make sure I had my daily ice bucket and to apologize for the interruptions. Storm day was my favorite Santorini day- we got to appreciate how hard everyone works to make it flawless for tourists, and you realize, it’s an island, we were all going through it together. We loved the staff especially Evie and Stella, but everyone you meet is fabulous and warm- they say hello, they look out for you and ask what the plans are to make sure you are safe (on storm day we wanted to hike down to Amoudi Bay and Evie was like “uhmmmmm I wouldn’t recommend it” LOL). We brought them treats one day to thank them for just being so good to us, and to all the guests. The TripAdvisor reviews were all accurate re: service, setting, so if you stay here, please go the extra mile to talk to the hotel employees, they are all knowledgeable, kind, proud of the island and the hotel. We were so sad to leave the people, they made our Santorini trip better.…
Evi and the entire staff at Art Maisons went out of their way to make sure we had the perfect stay in Santorini. We can’t say enough about the amazing customer service, beautiful room and views, and delicious breakfast each morning! They welcomed us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine to enjoy our first sunset, gave great local food and massage recommendations, helped us schedule tours and transfers throughout the week, and Evi even took a few photos of us when we realized we hadn’t taken any together. We will be telling all of our friends and family about this gem of a hotel and we hope to be back again soon ourselves! Thank you again for everything!!
