Stay of a lifetime!!! Impeccable service by everyone at Armenaki. The views are incredible!! Our family of 4, two teens, stayed in 2 rooms that shared a terrace and plunge pool. We had a precious mama cat and 2 kittens that we cared for while we are there. When you arrive you are greeted by staff where the cab drops you and they carry your luggage down steep stairs and winding steps to your unit. You are greeted by the most gracious hostess that explains everything perfectly. Each day you select what you want for breakfast and it is delivered to you at your time of choice. They wait on you and foot until you feel guilty for feeling so lazy! There are so many restaurants, shops, coffee etc just up the steps from your unit. Great AC, shower, space etc in a truly memorable setting!! We hiked to Ammoudi Bay to escape the crowds. Highly recommend!! And enjoyed a boat tour to cool off. The excursion was suggested through our hotel. You don’t have to fight the crowds for pics with the blue domes because you are staying right in the middle of them!!

We had the most wonderful stay at Armenaki! We had room #4 and it was beautiful. It was spacious with a living room and separate bedroom. The hot tub and view of the caldera were stunning. The bathroom cave-like and clean.
We were welcomed with lemonade, dessert wine and a dessert. Alexia met us in our room to give us a welcome and overview. She was also helpful in setting up our transfers from the airport to the hotel, from the hotel to the ferry port and to and from Cavo Tagoo for our group of 16. She was super helpful and quick in the preparations for our trip!
One of our favorite things was having breakfast outside on the terrace/deck of our room. There is no restaurant at the hotel, so breakfast was delivered daily which was amazing and peaceful. The food outstanding! Kayana eggs, yogurt & honey, and the bread baskets were our favorites in addition to daily coffees and smoothies. So spoiled there! I didn’t mind that there wasn’t a restaurant onsite, there are so many around the area that it didn’t feel like something was missing.
I liked the location, right in the middle of the town but below the three main domes so still very quiet and private. Yes lots of steps but pretty easy to get to Oia Castle, the main square and all the shops/restaurants.
We stayed in the Aliante Suite for 3 nights and the Cliff Nest for 1 night. The Cliff Nest seemed like a cool room with having the rooftop access, but I knew going in it was a smaller room. I’m glad I did it that way. The cliff nest room was cool up there, but I prefer the bigger Aliante suite with more living space. I’m glad we got to experience both.
A wonderful stay, beautiful location and property and friendly and accommodating staff! Thank you Alexia and Armenaki spoiling us!

This was by far, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It was pure luxury. I must begin with explaining just how amazing the hotel manager, Alexia was. She made our stay so perfect by providing everything we needed.
After receiving our hotel booking confirmation, I replied to their email to book the airport pickup/drop-off service. Alexia arranged to have a driver waiting for us at the airport. He drove us to the post office pick-up point where the hotel porter met us and carried our luggage directly to our room. Alexia was waiting in our room to greet us with a cold drink and go over all the details of our stay. When it came time to depart, she arranged to have our bags taken back to the meeting point where our driver was waiting.
The room was spectacular with an absolutely breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea. Our room included a private balcony with a private jacuzzi. I can say that sitting in the hot water and sipping drinks while looking out over the sea was like a dream.
Each morning, breakfast was served to us on our balcony, and it was so delicious. Everything prepared fresh each day. My favourite was the Bougatsa pastry. The breakfast was so satisfying that we didn't need lunch.
Our room was huge and so comfortable. It had a spacious and very comfortable bed, a great large living room space, big bathroom with double vanity and walk-in shower.
Each day we were visited by staff to clean the jacuzzi and clean our room. They staff were very attentive and super friendly. They really made us feel at home. I can't say enough about Alexia. She truly helped to make this a perfect vacation. Thank you, Alexia for everything. You are simply the best!
It's hard to put it in words exactly how amazing this place is, so I hope this review will give you some idea. If you have the means to visit Santorini, then do it. And, I highly recommend staying at the Hotel Armenaki.

The Good: The breakfast was wonderful, you get a choice of 3 menus and can pick and choose what you like from all of them. Breakfast is delivered to your room between 8-10am, it was superb. The staff are super friendly, everyone is welcoming and overall the resort is in a good location, minus having to go past the hundreds of people at the top trying to take photos. The beds are super comfy and the toiletries are great quality. There are lots of stairs so if you have any mobility issues this hotel is not for you.
Specially recognition to Abdul who carried our 2x35kg luggage, delivered our breakfast daily with a huge smile and was honestly just lovely to be around.
The Bad: Wifi connection is terrible. Struggled to load basic web pages to check in for our flight.
We booked an Alitana Suite based on our needs as a couple and photos on their website however we were beyond disappointed with our room. The inside was stunning, large room, comfy bed and beautiful artwork but you don’t come to Santorini to sit inside. All the photos online show long large pools but ours was the size of a large bathtub allocated in front of a walk way with no privacy. We had randoms walking past our pool with some stopping to wash their hands in our pool while taking photos!! The cleaners daily dumped bags of washing outside our room and since the pool was almost the same height as the footpath it was really awkward when people walked past and stared down at you. We were offered another room on our second night (4 night stay in total) but the pool was the same size and it only had a day bed suitable for 1 person, so being a couple the other person would have to sit in a chair which wasn’t appealing so we opted to stay where we were although being severely unhappy. In hindsight we should have changed rooms for the privacy and dealt with being on uncomfortable chairs.
Good to know facts: There are only 3 possible Alitana rooms for bookings with 2 guests and 2/3 have tiny pools. I am under no illusion that hotels do their best and in some cases can not fulfill requests however their website and photos are incredibly misleading and do not show all possible options, some being ALOT better than others and yet the same price? We were stuck with the worst option.
After planning this holiday a year in advanced it was a disappointing end to our honeymoon and the end of our European holiday. I was upset, shattered and wished we booked another location. If we hadn’t paid prior to arrival I would have changed hotels. I would suggest booking a larger room category to ensure you get a larger pool/ better outlook, book for 3 guests to ensure a better/larger room or simply book elsewhere to avoid disappointment like us. This will probably be the only time visiting Santorini in our life time and it was utterly ruined.

Dear Mrs. Alara , We would really like to thank you once again for choosing Αrmenaki for your visit in Santorini and for your kind comments about our staff. Please let me assure you that we appreciate your feedback and we take it into serious consideration in order to provide the best possible service towards our guests. With reference to your additional comments regarding your accommodation we totally understand that it was your honeymoon and you requested a specific room a year ago, however as mentioned to you we are not able to guarantee a specific room as it is always subject to availability upon the arrival of the guests. And indeed in Santorini full privacy cannot be guaranteed due to the geological configuration layout however the corridor in front of your room is a private area of the hotel, so guests of the hotel allowed to pass by from this. As far as the laundry bags placed in the same corridor is concerned, kindly note that due to lack of space on the cliffs, it is the only way to provide housekeeping service. With regards to the pool size as per the information provided in our hotel’s webpage all accommodations provide private plunge pools which are almost at the same size. Since you were not satisfied with your accommodations the minute we had availability for a different room of the same room type, we showed it to you immediately but you finally decided not to move. In addition, the incident with the internet in our property was unfortunate those days and we do apologize about it. We would like to thank you once again for staying at Armenaki Santorini and we truly appreciate your kind feedback. Kind regards, Armenaki Santorini Team

What a place. Armenaki is a destination in and of itself. We stayed here during our second stop of our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier with our experience.

To start with service, everyone we interacted with was very professional, accommodating and responsive. Nicole was very helpful in arranging some local activities for us in advance of our trip as well as our transfer from the ferry. Room service breakfast is scheduled every day and you can choose your time for delivery to your terrace or inside your room. Our personal favorite was the Greek breakfast.
Our room was stunning. We stayed in the Alitana suite (Room 2). Everything is impeccably designed and decorated. The front room had a huge, gorgeous arched ceiling, but my favorite feature was definitely the cave shower in the back of the suite. We spent most of our stay relaxing on our terrace, enjoying the incredible view and dipping in and out of our plunge pool.
The location is amazing. It's a 2 min walk to Pelakanos (at the top of the stairs) which we enjoyed for a sunset our first day there. My only comment would be to be prepared to climb some stairs (this is the case for exploring or staying along the caldera in general). However, we were greeted by porters from Armenaki who carried our bags and led us upon arrival and departure. If you don’t mind a short climb up and down and are in decent physical shape you should be fine.

Overall, I cannot recommend Armenaki enough. It is one of those unique hotels in the world you enjoy just as much as the destination. We can't wait to return one day! Thank you for an amazing honeymoon.

Sorry for the delayed review. We stayed here in June for my 50th birthday celebration. We were with daughters (18 and 20) and stayed 3 nights in the Armenaki residence which was two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and had a private plunge pool. We actually felt it was a great value rather than paying for two separate suites. I had previously celebrated my 40th birthday in Santorini (staying at another property) and knew I wanted to stay in Oia again. The location is super - I think Oia is the best of Santorini and exactly what you THINK Santorini will look like (white buildings and blue domes).
Our room had everything you could think of as far as convenience wise. A/C worked great and hot water in showers were plentiful. Breakfast is delicious and you have your choice of 3 different menus which you can pick and choose from if you don't like all of the selections. I don't understand how people say it is limited choice? You literally have so much food - yogurt, eggs, bread galore, fruit. The only problem was that they got our order wrong pretty much every day but we didn't complain because there was still plenty to eat. Another little complaint was that our Nespresso pods were never replaced the entire time we were there, even when we asked. They kept brining the decaf pods which they probably didn't know were decaf not caffeinated. Not a big problem at all and if that's my only complaint then rest assured, this is a great hotel.
Fyi when you arrive in Santorini, your driver will call Armeneki and the porters will come meet you at the post office and carry your bags for you. Nice and easy!

We loved our stay here at the beautiful Armenaki. From the friendly staff, stunning views of the water, delicious food, adorable rooms with lovely plunge pools, more private / less touristy location, this hotel has everything you need for a luxurious stay in Santorini. Alex was absolutely wonderful in carrying our huge suitcases throughout Oia and ensuring we were taken care of at check-in. We arrived to delicious chilled lemonade drinks which were welcomed after the trip down from Oia’s main road. He also arranged private drivers for pick up & drop off at the airport. He was also extremely caring of my 72 year old mom and ensured her safety down the many flights of stairs to the hotel. Alexia took very good care of us as well arranging a private driver to the beach who would hold our luggage to then take us to the airport to make it seamless & easy on our last day. She also gave us late check out and made sure we had a great stay. The room was so cute, I want to copy that design aesthetic for my home. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, safe in closet, and unparalleled views of the Mediterranean. Waking up to such stunning views of the azure waters complemented by the rock formations & tiny white buildings all over Santorini - we never got tired of the view. Lastly, the plunge pool & patio were the cherry on top - great to relax in / enjoy our delicious breakfast as we soaked in tranquil views & truly enjoyed ourselves. We’re telling all our family & friends to stay there and can not wait to come back! Highly recommend!!

How to define the splendor of this hotel. Everything is perfect there. From the breathtaking view, the absolutely spacious room, decorated with taste and simplicity, the service is delicate but very present. Thanks to WhatsApp, we can ask all our questions to the manager (thanks translators!) and she intervenes and responds very quickly, both for technical needs and for tourist advice. Everything is perfect. The gargantuan breakfast on the terrace, the heated jacuzzi... I can't stop complimenting this establishment.

The hotel is in a great location for Oia just a 5 min walk up steep steps to the main road through town. There is a great selection of food and drink options you can order to the room and breakfast is excellent. Staff and the level of service are also perfect. The best thing however are the views from the rooms where you can see both the caldera and ocean with your own plunge pool (temperature perfect) Armenaki is the perfect place to stay in Oia.
