I wouldn't recommend living at Heliophos. There is barely any English speaking facility and there are no dustbins. The rooms are average. The hotel is way too remote. One must walk at least a mile to just reach a street and another mile to reach a bus stop. Do not stay here.

I've been traveling for a week now and got into Oia, Santorini 3 days ago. I stayed in Thje hotel for 3 nights. Heliophos hotel is a simple, family-like boutique hotel and is taken care of by Mrs Sofia. I stayed in a suite. The rooms are built inside small caves and it is quite an experience. The temperature (without...

Far from the crowds island, I have discovered this rather our place named Finikia, close to Oia on foot, looking to the Anahi island. And then I had the chance to spend 3 days at Heliophos boutique hotel! Cozy, particular and every time I visited, renovated. Of course, it will be a next stay there, next year probably, as the...

We came across this hotel on booking.com. It seemed to be a good deal and nice looking and we wanted to stay at a few different locations on Santorini. We had a car so it didn’t matter where we really were. Everything on the island is easy to drive to. This hotel is set a bit back from the road....

I booked for 4 days at this apartment. However, the lady host asked me to shift to another apartment for my last night as she has a big group of guest checking and they doesn't want to be separate. Although I have agreed to help her out but it's doesn't make me feel comfortable, esp when Im a solo traveller....

This queit little gem lies just a 15 min walk from the Oia city center. You have to walk uphill but that something that you have to get used to anyway if you visit Oia. We stayed in the 2 level apartment which was really cosy. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is exactly enough.

Heliophos. Just like his name. Helios=sun and fos=light. Sunlight. A beautiful, different hotel which is fully lighted from the sunlight. Excellent cave rooms with a different style from the other hotel. A calm situation in Oia,Finikia. Excellent view to the sea. Breakfast in your room and wifi very good. Ms Sofia is an excellent and lovely woman who give you...

We decided to spend the rest of our stay close to Oia in the north of Santorini. To be exact the place is called Finikia. When we arrived we were greeted by Sofia who is quite friendly. However, we found the transfer from Kamari to Oia rather expensive. We paid €45! More expensive than a taxi as when we left...

Traditional SANTORINI vacation away from masses. Just 1.5 kms from the famous Oia, with the indescribable view of the largest volcanic caldera in the world, the small village of Foinikia, inhabited mostly by locals, remains in ancient times, before the tourist rush. Location: The village Foinikia is 1.5 km from OIA and caldera of Santorini, 15 km from the airport. At 100 meters there is free parking, local bus stop agency and rental cars and motorbikes. Rooms: Each studio decorated with taste, has its own veranda with view, Satellite TV, CD player and radio and are air - conditioned. Wi-Fi Internet.
