The hotel is amazing. Highly recommend a rental car which we had for this hotel. Plenty of free parking and the hotel is a little bit away from everything. The views from the rooms are amazing the pools are beautiful. Nice restaurant area with great views. Friendly staff always willing to help at this hotel.

A few areas of improvements the hotel could focus on: In the room there is only one tiny trash can--the room definitely needs one more big trash can. The maintenance in the pools is needed a little as the ladder to enter the pool is very loose almost falling off. Liquid hand soap is needed in the room they give u soap tablets which are underwhelming. The breakfast although the staff is friendly and nice and work so hard is not very fresh and the same options every day would expect a little more from a hotel at this price point. In general the hotel could use a little more deep cleaning at the pool beds and the rooms they only do a very light cleaning while you stay.

All in all I highly recommend staying here but there are definitely a few areas the hotel can improve upon to take it to the next level. Definitely seems to be the best hotel option in Oia if you want a little quiet and don't mind walking into town.

We stayed at Mr and Mrs White for seven nights in July. The hotel is in a great location, 7mins from oia via car or 15 mins walk although taxis are expensive and the walk is up/downhill.

The hotel staff are great and very friendly Stavrola and Tasos at reception are very helpful with local knowledge of places to eat etc . George and Joanna at breakfast are always so friendly which is a nice start to the day…George makes the best iced coffees !

Breakfast is a nice variety of traditional Greek foods as well as some croissants and fruit. Try the feta pie it’s amazing ! We did use the snack service which we paid for and the food was always fresh and nice. They do also offer omelettes and fried eggs etc which is made fresh to order.

The hotel itself is beautiful and well kept, nice pools including an infinity pool. Amazing rooms and the weather and view is superb every day. We had a week of sunshine. Also a thank you to housekeeping team and aryaan who work tirelessly every day keeping the grounds looking immaculate.

We were two sisters travelling alone and felt safe in Santorini and oia on a whole.
We loved our stay in Santorini ❤️

This is a beautiful hotel. On arrival we were warmly greeted and shown around. The staff were all very helpful during our stay. Our room (superior) was spacious and lovely, although there was black electrical tape holding the shower together in one part. Toiletries were a nice touch. Breakfast was a good mix of buffet and a la carte - a good choice and we liked the booking system - we did not struggle to get our chosen time. The views from breakfast are incredible. We ate lunch there once which was very nice, although small choice. The pool area was well maintained and we did not struggle for sunbeds although this may be different in busier time. There was space for more beds that could be used even whilst distancing. It was more sheltered from the wind than Oia and peaceful by the pool. There were cracks at the bottom of the pool which were not too noticeable. The walk into Oia was a pleasant 15-30 minutes depending where you were walking to. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a beautiful stay in Oia.

Beware the promise shown here.

STAY AWAY ??

My wife and I booked at last minute and paid a premium rate for a best room with a private hot tub, jacuzzi.

When we arrived, the jacuzzi was absolutely filthy. The filter was filled with hair, fur and there was a black scum line above the water; dirt accumulated on the floor and floating on the top. There was no way I would expect my wife to step into that for "enjoyment."

I immediately went to the management office. "There's nothing I can do until tomorrow. I will speak with the Manager." The attitude was vacant at best. There was no expression of concern. - Not to mention that there was no hot water that night due to a "general problem."

Day 2: I went back up to management office and voiced my concern. I had paid for a private hot tub and jacuzzi that could not be used. What could be done? Answer: "I will bring it up to the Manager." When will the Manager be in? "I don't know. Maybe 10:00, 11:00, tomorrow. Maybe. I don't know."

On my follow-ups, they actually walked away from me and even feigned a phone call to avoid dialogue.

It can get worse. This destination is only 5 minutes walk from a Waste Water Treatment Plant (sewage treatment). Just as you are about to enjoy the sunset view you paid for, the wind changes and you are nauseous. No exaggeration.

+
While the management office was absolutely absent, the staff at restaurant, bar, pool, housekeeping were very friendly in every way. Management versus Staff were polar opposites.

Simplicity at its best. This hotel had a special feel to it. It is a 30 minute down hill stroll into Oia where all the boutiques, art galleries, gift shops, restaurants, bars and other attractions are. Our room was painted white, clean white crisp bedding, soft white towels and complimentary toiletries . It had its own veranda overlooking the caldera. Mini bar in the room stocked with water, soft drinks, wine and snacks which are charged individually when used and added to your bill. The open fronted restaurant with a sea view, serves continental breakfast consisting of a selection of bread , pastries, cake, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, hot traditional Greek pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, hot drinks & a choice of egg options from the kitchen. The staff in the restaurant are friendly and efficient, service with a smile morning and evening. In the evening, extra little complimentary treats are a nice touch. The view of the sunset from the hotel restaurant’s veranda is one of the best views we had during our stay. The main swimming pool was great for an early morning swim before breakfast and the small infinity pool was a nice way to cool down before dinner, with it’s beautiful view. We took a hike along the coastal path (which in some parts was gravely, rocky and steep) to the village of Imerogivili which took 3.5 hours…set off early (7am or before) to avoid the midday heat! We set off later and the heat became an added challenge. We took a taxi back to the hotel. There are also a selection traditional restaurants within 10 minutes walk across the main road from the hotel including a taverna with live music. Management were helpful and friendly. nothing was too much trouble.

Stayed for a week in mid May to celebrate a special birthday. Location was ideal to walk into town whilst quieter than staying right in Ola. The staff, particularly the breakfast team were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a superior mezzanine ground floor room and we noticed that the quality of the room being cleaned deteriorated in the 7 days we stayed. The shower wasn’t very clean when we arrived and was quite smelly and damp each day. It needed a good scrub down particularly in the corners which had mould spores. It appeared just the bed was made and bins emptied each day as the cleaner was only in the room 10-15 minutes. We’ve had much better standards of cleanliness in many other Greek hotels and apartments so maybe we were just unlucky with a shortage of cleaning staff during the early season. We only had breakfast at the hotel but there are some lovely restaurants in Ola and the views are amazing.

We had a lovely time at mr and Mrs white. We enjoy the pool areas and beautiful views. What makes the hotel so special is the amazing staff. They are an asset to the hotel. Special thanks to George and Ioanna from breakfast. Such lovely people. Ioanna had our breakfast table ready with our favourite beverages every morning. She remembers everything without writing anything down!!! Lovely personality. George too, nothing was too much trouble for him. Always smiling and accommodating. Our kids had a lot of fun and we’re well looked after. The reception staff is also very friendly and helpful.

With just a short walk into the heart of Oia, the hotel is away from the crowds and noise from traffic.

They very kindly gave us a courtesy room on day of departure as our flight was leaving late and we could still use the hotel facilities.

The only negative is the small bathrooms and drain smell from the corridor to our rooms. We had rooms on lower level.

Just got back from a lovely break at mr and mrs white santorini. Location is excellent overlooking the Caldera. The views from the room were breathtaking, as was the view from the hotel restaurant. The 2 pools are lovely and well kept.
Distance from Oia was perfect, so we had a lovely 20 minute walk in every night for dinner. Oia itself has some superb restaurants, but definitely check out the tavernas just off the beaten track as here you will get the best food and best value. Try Roka and Karma - both had beautiful food and friendly staff.
The bus service was good- easy access to Fira and then on to anywhere on the island for under €2 a time. Santo winery well worth a visit.
Lastly worth a huge mention- Joanne and George at breakfast looked after us really well all week. Both were very conscientious and hard working, and remembered our tea/coffee/food preferences all week. They really made our holiday and are everything that mr and mrs white is all about. Good friendly service with a smile. Thanks so much, we will be back

Arrived in early hours of Saturday morning after a delayed flight, was greeted by Dom who was very helpful.
We were two couples in rooms 222 and 220, superior Caldera View rooms.
Room 222 has a massive balcony with sunbeds but no umbrella, no shade and is at the highest level, 220 is the level below. Rooms are nice enough but the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep, we are in out 50's and 60's and I would class us as still fit and able.
Views are amazing but it is this aspect that entitles them to be classed as a superior room according to a conversation heard with one of reception and another guest, pool area is lovely, clean, not enough sunbeds and umbrellas though, so hard to find shade.
Breakfast is lovely and plentiful, bar area in the restaurant and evening meal was very good and did cater for Gluten Intolerance albeit only one main meal although no bread, morning or evening.
Alot of the other restaurants in the area did not cater for Gluten Intolerance, Taverna Santorini (just a grilled piece of chicken was received as a main meal no salad or anything else to accompany it) this is just across the road from the hotel and Mes Amis did not apparently have anything for Gluten Intolerance, we found three that did, Karma, Melatini and Roka in the main area down a side street and had a lovely meal in all.
Went on one of the sunset cruises and the meal on this was lovely and catered for Gluten Intolerance.
On the Sunday morning we woke to no water at all, went to reception and they said was an island problem with the water pressure, speaking to other guests in rooms below some had cold water others were okay, room 221 next to us also had no water. Went back to the room in the evening same again, no water, this continued for three days with the same excuse. Ended up having to shower at the outside pool shower.
Called Jet 2 and low and behold the next day saw workmen around the hotel and noted they had fitted a new pressure pump, my partner is a plumber and spoke to the workmen.
Water situation was fine after this.
Spoke to the hotel rep who stated the water pressure was not an island problem, so had been lied to by some of the management team/reception staff, who were not helpful at all and didn't even come to inform us the water problem had been fixed.
On arrival at the airport for our return journey, spoke to another Jet 2 rep who said again it was not a resort problem with the water pressure and that they were already aware of the problem at this hotel.
Asked to keep a room on as was not departing until 9pm and had to be out-of the room by 11am, couldn't but there is a shower room in the reception area.
I cannot speak highly enough of Joanna and George (sorry if names are spelt incorrectly) in the breakfast room, especially Joanna, who also works on reception, they are lovely, work really hard and are always welcoming/friendly and very very helpful, she should be made management.

We stayed in the room 301 with a mezzanine bedroom. Really disapointing room, poorly furnished and decorated, the access to the terasse is blocked by the 2nd room, layout of the room is pretty bad. The bathroom is depressing, the soap and shampoo tablets are really unpleasant. The room is next to the housekeeping storage, when the housekeeper started working in the morning we thought she was entering our room as the storage door is so loud. When we left for for breakfast the floor was covered in garbage bags from her service, really bad impression. The breakfast food option is average, the fresh orange juice and coffees are nice. Last but not least, the reservation department is not flexible nore accomodating. Won't be back at this property, really disapointed.
