The lodge is on a hilltop outside Maralal and has lovely views over the valley. We had the "superior cottage" which was quite comfortable, with a lovely patio and fireplace. We had our breakfast on the patio of the room. Lunch and dinner were only fair, but I don't think there are many options nearby.

After a visit last year I made plans to return for a 2nd visit last month, and brought a friend from the US. The service was even better than the first time. Parisa, who is not only the manager but the main cook, is a one off, and made the stay very special. It absolutely feels more like home than...

We came to Maralal for the International Camel Derby and wanted to have a nice place to stay. Ngari Hill Guesthouse was perfect! They have a rustic (but modern) set of cabins tucked away in a beautiful, quiet spot way up a hill overlooking the region. Both Rudolf and Parisa were great hosts, always checking in on us. The food...

We had a wonderful time at Ngari Hill Guesthouse. Daniel Parisa Lolmareny was an amazing host, the food was fantastic and the accomodation was spacious and clean. Our view from the hill top was great as we had our breakfast on the veranda. We would certainly stay there again.

Truly great place, with an astonishing view of the landscape from the chillout area. The manager has been very kind and owner (he has medical knowledge) offered a free visit for one of our friend that was sick. Also the place is out of the City, so you can really enjoy the peace

Visited with 10 friends, received a wonderful welcome by the lovely manager, Rudolph. The rooms are huge and fitted with taste. The suite is something exceptional, in that it has its own terrace overlooking the plateau. The restaurant has a big terrace where you can enjoy a beer while looking at the panorama. The cuisine is awesome

I had only planned an overnight stay on the way through Maralal, but after that one night I changed all my plans to return for another two nights the following week. The room I stayed in is the best room within 150km of Maralal, and the attention by the staff is amazing. Hotel Manager Parisa is the best, and owner...

I stayed here three nights with a small group while working in the area. Rudolf & Daniel are really great hosts and were eager to help with whatever we needed. The hilltop location means amazing views around the entire property. The location is peaceful & serene. The stars at night were spectacular. I shared a cottage room with two friends....

I stayed here for one night. The accommodation was traditional but extremely comfortable, the best bed I slept in in Africa. The views from my cottage were truly stunning, you could see for miles. The sunset is something else. Hot water, consistent wifi, great food and wine and great hosts.
