This is a fabulous hotel and resort. It’s not a boutique type hotel however. In any case, the service is impeccable, food is also very good and the Swimmingpools are jau perfect. We are a family of three and we took the family room, which has basically one bedroom with a daily room with a couch expandable to a second bed. The bathroom is very nice and spacious and so is the entire apartment. Two TVs. The WiFi is extremely good with no downtimes. The beach is just a few walks away. In conclusion you can’t do anything wrong with Riu Palace. We are considering coming back next year. Thank you to the entire Team at Riu Palace!

Visited this hotel April 25 - May 2 during the pandemic with my husband and a single friend staing in a separate room. Hotel is really nice. Food is fantastic, I can only compare with a few Carribean resorts: there is so much to choose from that you may not even try the entire variaty during your stay. Beware: all a la carte restaurants are closed due to COVID. Beach is wide, ocean is beautiful, warm enough to swim in April-May but you probably won’t go more than once a day. We visited spa with my husband (Massage for two): very professional, recommended. Service is remarkable, best African expirience for me so far. Hotel is still half-empty so staff would give you nice room with a seaview (really appreciate that). Note: there will be nothing but water in your room, no soft drinks in mini bar (no dispencers either) - I assume, this is COVID impact as well. There are a few tours worth being taken around the island, including buggy, postcard tour and diving. This can be really nice option for one-week stay, especially with the limiter options like this year. Riu pPalace is indeed worth recommendation: you wont be dissapointed. P.S. Everyone takes COVID measures seriously and it feels absolutely safe.

The hotel is amazing, new, clean and fresh. The rooms have all you need, food is very tasty and various, Thera are many pools, good bars with real drinks. Staff is very kind and makes sure you have what you need. Make sure you take jumpers for evenings, as it can be chilly because of the constant wind.

Stayed here in March having stayed in the Kaeamboa the sister hotel a number of years ago, despite being a lot more touristy the staff are still wonderful friendly and happy to see you. We upgraded to a room with a private pool for the last few days when one became available it was fantastic, great sunbathing and very quiet, we had a trip out to go whale watching and it was fascinating to see how much has been built to cater for tourism, accommodation for staff etc what a huge difference from our last visit. The gym was the only let down for me but if that’s the only quibble well I can live with that.
