My wife and I were looking for a nice place to stay in Catskills to see the leaves change colors. We didn't have any idea where to go or stay. It was hard to find a place because the Catskills is a collection of many small town. Even in Mt Tremper there are only 2 hotels listed. Most places were... More

Got this as a birthday present. I must be a good person to get such a lovely gift. My wife upgraded us to the Baby Moon package. Upon arrival in the evening on a Saturday, the check in process was swift and lovely. We were staying at the lodge. Silly us didn't realize that we could drive there from the... More

We drove from Toronto to NY City and really wanted to stay in the Catskills on the way. We actually struggled to find a really nice hotel which was surprising given how beautiful and popular the area is. However, we came up with this and on the website etc it looked great and it also had the option of family... More

We have a variety of choices for our guests. The Adirondack style Lodge has 27 rooms and 5 room styles with a log cabin decor. The Inn has 26 contemporary style rooms with 3 room styles. All of our rooms are spacious, and many feature fireplaces, decks and whirlpool/air-jetted tubs. We do our absolute best to describe the various rooms... More

Located 2 hours from new york city,The Emerson is an ideal location for a quick getaway. The rooms are 5 star and the staff a pleasure. It is in the Catskill forest so it has a nice rustic feel. The resort is attractive and well done. We stayed in the Inn in a Jr Suite. The lobby was great and it had a remarkable number of stores. The spa looked attractive. My complaint was the staff. They were all pleasant, but they seemed understaffed and underprepared. The poor front desk person was trying to juggle the people in line... More

We stayed at this resort for my best friend's wedding. It was the perfect time of year with the most perfect weather and the resort was the icing on the cake. This was our first time in the area, and just happened upon the property. It is a bit of strange place to have such a nice property - kind of the middle of nowhere. But this made it a great find. We were put in the Lodge. Most of that was fine - not in main Inn property so it... More

Beautiful suite, luxurious bath with a rain shower and separate closed off toilet area. I love that. Bed is extremely comfortable. Gas fireplace in room. Our room, 404, had a small deck which was nice little extra. The only issue we had here was that a water main broke and we were without water for two hours. An inconvenience because... More
