We stayed two nights in Lenhart's Cottages with our dog. It was absolutely perfect! Ocean views, right across from the beach and minutes from town. The cottages were extremely clean and comfortable. We had breakfast and coffee in the cottage each morning and coctails in the afternoon while looking out at the ocean. We highly recommend Lenhart's. We're hoping to... More

Love the cottage im in, especially the view of the ocean. Clean, family oriented "log" cabin cottage. Views from the cottage are amazing especially love looking out at the ocean while cooking and washing up the dishes. Fireplace burning is a huge bonus on a cold day returning back from a walk. Looking to return here in the summer to... More

First time stay. Perfect view, location, accommodations. Never slept so well in my life. Can't wait to go back... A view from everywhere in the cottage. Easy access to anything you need. Fireplace was great, bring wood.

I read reviews for Lenharts which were mostly favorable. This past weekend my husband and I had been scheduled to stay at Burcliffe by the Sea which is just up the road from Lenharts on Old Montauk Highway. So two days before my stay, when Ron (the manager/owner) of Lenharts who must be handling the Burcliffe reservations, told me we... More

My fiance and I have stayed at Lenhart's, twice now, on recommendation of a friend of ours who has been going there for years with his wife. It's not too far from town or the Lighthouse. The owner has always been accommodating (late check-ins, last minute reservations and the like) without being intrusive. The furniture was clean and comfortable, a... More

This is our second year staying at Lenhart's in Montauk. I have been coming out to the Hampton's every summer for the last twenty years (doing share houses in my twenties, then with kids and husband in my thirties and forties) and I think this is my favorite place. Lenhart's is close to Montauk but right outside of town, which... More

We had stayed here over 10 years ago and the cottages still have an old Montauk feel but have been updated-we stayed in a 1 bedroom which has kitchen, fireplace, 2 tvs, internet access but most important fantastic panoramic ocean views. The cottage is spotless, beds comfortable. Just about 100 steps to the beach (across old Montauk highway). Beach was... More

This was a great place to stay with our dog! Very basic but clean accomodations. Extremely close to the beach. Property manager was easy going, but helpful and responsive -- broken toilet was fixed immediately after we mentioned it.

Nice location on the Old Montauk Highway and a short drive to town. Beach is across the road and down some steps. The owner Ron is a nice guy and very helpful. My main comment is that the cottages are quite dowdy with old sagging sofas, rickety tables and gaudy patterns galore. Considering these cottages are $250+ a night in... More

Our trip to Lenhart's Cottages had to be postponed twice due to bad weather and illness but our third try was a charm. We stayed in cottage number two for two nights and the cottage and trip was exactly what my wife and two dogs were looking for. Although the temperatures were below average for this time of year, the... More
