I decided to book this B&B because I just need to get away for the night despite living a little over an hour away. This b&b is located on one of the countless wineries that have popped up over the last few decades in the North Fork of Long Island. At arrival to the b & b I checked in...

My wife and I had a wonderful few days of rest at Shinn Estate and made it a great base for exploring the North Fork. The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly and the wine is very good. What more do you need!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and we had an amazing time.. We did a tour at 2:30 and learned so many interesting things about the vineyard and wine making. We also got 4 complimentary tastings along with the tour! In addition to the 4 tastings, we got an additional 4 tastings for staying over at the...

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary. We stayed in the Northfield Room. The room was clean and upscale farmhouse as to be expected but the odd thing about this particular room is that the rest room (although private) is located across the hall. It felt a little like a nice dorm. Otherwise we liked it. It is...

My girlfriend has been wanting to stay here for years. She has toured the winery and is enamored with their eco esthetic. Everything is serene and eco friendly. The stylish farmhouse decor is charming and we decided to unwind one Friday. The wine & cheese welcome, though scant, was good. The room was well decorated; views were great; it was...

My husband and I stayed one night at the Farmhouse in the Porchside room. It was his Birthday and we wanted to do a few wineries and stay at one too. The accomodations were lovely and very clean. We were the only guests that night so it was nice to have the place to ourselves. We met the owner, Barbara,...

Beautiful farmhouse. My husband and I stayed in the Porchside room. Very nicely decorated that also had a lovely private bathroom. EVERYTHING in the farmhouse was perfectly neat and spotless, which was an A+++ in my book. The shower was very large. Our room was next to the door that led to the porch and the gathering area. The tasting...

We did not stay over but took the tour of the winery by the owner which was so informative!! He loves what he does, cares about what he does and is a true environmentalist. Did you know that the only ingredient the wine Industry needs to list on its bottles is sulfites?? So if they add coloring or other additives...

The Farmhouse is lovely, and clean. I personally am not a huge fan of B&B's and to be honest, some reviews of the owners being absent was part of the appeal for us. That being said, our minimal interaction with them was a bit disappointing - didn't seem to care much either way. The staff were the shining stars in...

The best wines of the day. Nice set up, indoor and outdoor space, quite small so could get busy on warm days. We arrived late so only wine by the glass, no tasting. But wine list descriptive enough to find a glass we liked. Good snacks. Highly recommend, more for the wine than the setting.
