This is our third trip up there..girls weekend away from it all and it's just the best place to relax, have a delightful homemade breakfast in the elegant Victorian dining room and enjoy the views from the wrap-around patio. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. The Inn in just a short trip down to town for some great...

Absolutely opulent, comfortable and such a fantastic two night stay. Carol our hostess was welcoming and so helpful, especially when we had freak snow fall, which only made our stay more picturesque and magical. We would most definitely recommend a stay in The Margaretville Mountain Inn, from the beautiful surroundings, cleanliness, comfortable bed and homemade breakfast we could not have...

We stayed here after skiing at Bellayre. The place exudes charm and the innkeeper is the soul of hospitality. A fine breakfast in the elegant dining room completed a wonderful b&b experience. Be sure to ask the innkeeper about the work they did on the barn.

We had a reservation on Saturday 1/16/16 for a weekend getaway with my wife but on the way up there we got in a big car accident our car was totaled. I called them to let them know we would make it and they were real nice about and are going to give us a gift certificate to go back....

Mountain Inn is an imposing building situated in the peace and quiet of Margaretville in idyllic surroundings. There is a fascinating history to the place and we were made very welcome in homely surroundings. It was a most pleasant experience.

Classic B&B - wrap around porch, victorian touches, a fluffy bed that you sink in to and a rolling lawn with barn. Homemade scones and made-to-order breakfast were more than we expected and wonderful! Would stay again and recommend to others. Thank you Carol!

We stayed two nights this fall at the peak of the fall foliage season and had a most romantic getaway. The Lavender room was beautifully decorated with a super comfortable king-sized bed, and the entire inn was lavishly adorned with historic Victorian art. The delicious breakfast was in a shared dining room, and we were able to have intriguing discussions...

The house has a view that overlooks the mountains and in fall shows all the autumn colors. There is a large wrap around porch that allows you to sit out and enjoy the scenery. The breakfast was plentiful, tasty and homemade (the pumpkin waffles were amazing!). The owners and family were very helpful and knew the area and suggested things...
