NRC is such a lovely place to stay - endearing staff, great food, scenery that can't be beat (the sunsets in particular are outstanding), cold beer, comfy beds, and hot water (sometimes)... a really nice place to call home for a week. It's much quieter and calmer than Nile River Explorer's, where a lot of overlanders stay (that said, you...

I was living in a village close by. Used to go there once a week with some friends. The place is nice and its location overlooking River Nile offers one of the best views of the river. Sunset from there is simply magic. Bar and restaurant are ok but don't ask for coffee..... it seems that the machine is always...

Great value with an awesome atmosphere - we went for a couple days ended up staying for a week, twice! Great sunset views over the Nile! Food was delicious and had amazing home baked bread which is rare in those parts! Beer was cold and served very efficiently by the friendly staff!

I must admit, when a friend suggested we should go camping at Jinja , I was not looking forward to it but the whole experience at the Nile River Camp was brilliant. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the food is good and very reasonably priced and the tents are spacious. It was lovely watching the sunset over the...

This is a great setting for a campsite. Bar area is funky. Patrick was friendly when welcoming us. We stayed in the tents and would recommend them. Toilets are a short walk. The tents are secure and have nice views. Food there is basic but not bad. Best value comfortable camping around for anyone that wants that. Would recommend.

The place was what we needed as a break from Kampala. Best if you have your own vehicle to move back and forth between town and the other resorts with resturants. They still have ties to all of the river activities, so no worries.

Having stayed here to go rafting with Nalabule (great fun), we squeezed in another stay at Nile River Camp a week later. Fantastic location with unbeatable views, company of monkeys & diverse birdlife (take a kayak out early one morning & ask for the bird book when you get back), excellent host Dylan making sure everyone feels welcome together with...

We stumbled upon Nile river camp as we were trying to look for another place and we are so glad we did! It is one of the best places we stayed on our 4 month trip. The bar/restaurant/lounge area is perfect and relaxing and there are great views over the Nile. Food is great and beers are cold. The staff...

The Nile River Camp was great! Even though there were a lot of people in the area when we were staying there, it was quiet at night. We brought our own camping gear and slept in one of the camping sites so I can't review any of the accommodation. The service at NRC was great and the food was good....
