Sauna is a bonus, our rooms were spacious and clean. It was damp and raining the weekend spent there. There are shops/outlets, bars and restaurants along the Main Street. Better to visit here during the summer or early spring/autumn. The beach/lake area looks nice.

Large, nicely equipped units with a hot tub and sauna on the 1st floor. Backs up to the golf course, Many went snow shoeing and cross country skiing on the course. Easy walking distance to down town with lots of pubs and restaurants. The Olympic skating center is only a few blocks away. Whiteface and the other Olympic sites are...

I enjoyed the spacious, lofty, comfortable two bedroom unit. The fireplace, as noted in a placard close to the stone outcropping in which it is ensconced, is wood-burning, which makes it almost antique. The "personal" sauna in the 1st floor bathroom is a unique feature that I have not encountered in any other resort, hotel, or timeshare. Parking is available...

We were in a 2-bedroom unit which was very comfortable and had all we needed. One note: both bedrooms are upstairs but one of the bathrooms is located on the main level.. The unit sleeps 8 so the downstairs "master" bathroom is meant to be shared by those not in a bedroom. One of the best things about the resort...

This is the best place to stay in Lake Placid. The spacious units are well stocked and clean. Close by to all attractions and the staff is excellent.Accommodates 8 people comfortably, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a full kitchen. This is bigger than some homes!

Have stayed at Lake Placid Club Lodges many times. Very, very courteous and informative staff. While the lodges have been in existence since the 1980s, the furnishings and decor regularly are updated.

Lake Placid Club Lodges is a comfortable home away from home. We enjoyed the uber-clean, spacious unit and the comfy beds. The quiet location was ideal, allowing us to walk into town & around Mirror Lake. We hiked, biked and toured - knowing we would come home each day to a perfect spot. Two weeks was simply too short. -...

We traded our week through Platinum Interchange and paid an "up charge" because this place sleeps 8. It was well worth it as we had 2 bedrooms, a loft, and a bath on the 2nd floor and a full sized kitchen, living room, dining room, and a bath with a jetted tub and sauna on the first floor. We were...

Lovely place, welcoming staff. Great location for getting into town by car or walking. My only complaint is that the bathrooms really need a good cleaning or an upgrade. (And I wish we'd known they didn't provide shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer...would have brought them from home)
