There's no denying the price was great (especially including breakfast). Our goal was just to get a good night sleep on our way south, but it wasn't quite a success: the main culprits were the beds, with uncomfortable and squeaky springs that made noise at every movement. In addition the light flows into the room early in the morning (even...

My family and I went back to Gentleman Johnnys for a second time. We stayed for four nights. We thought that they still had the fire pit so be brought up some snores and marshmellos to roast only to find out they lost their lisence to have it. I was not happy with the cleanliness of this place this time...

If you're looking for fancy, with all the amenities, this isn't it. Gentleman Johnny is a motel with friendly staff and will help you with whatever you need. It has a swimming pool, nice open area for large family groups to grill. Nancy is wonderful. There's housekeeping, continental breakfast and its on the trolley route, if you don't want to...

The room was clean and "rustic", wifi worked great and there is a lot of outdoor space to play if you go with kids! Ice machine and coffee in the morning is definitly a plus ! You can walk (a long walk) to go in the "action" in the village of lake george! Walmart is not too far if you...

Where do I start? Well, with the AC unit- turned it on right away because it was so stuffy, and dust, dirt and hair flew all over the bed and into the air. Turned on the lights and WOW was it filthy- see pics of the grill and the filter- we took it outside, and cleaned the grill ourselves. Started...

We just stayed this past week...3 nights. The reason I chose this place was the cheap rate and the good reviews on trip advisor... I can honestly say that i was advised incorrectly... I don't mind outdated and ugly.. but it was dirty... I had to clean the bathroom myself. Thank goodness i brought the Lysol wipes.. dirty toilet seat...

We stayed here for a night on a road trip through the area. It is off away from the hectic downtown area on the highway north of the main part of town. It is a small family run facility with mid-century style rooms. It is very clean, comfortable, and quiet. No frills but a great value. I would definitely stay...

“For six people, the 2 bedroom suite was terrific, with 2 double beds in one room and two twin beds in the second room. Plus, full kitchen.”

“If I am not mistaken, the odd numbered double bedded rooms (1, 5, 7, and 9) have bathtubs, whereas the even numbered double bedded rooms (2, 4, 6, 8, 10) only have shower stalls. If you have a preference for a room with a tub, it might however be helpful to verify this with the owners. The decor of the double bedded rooms is a little better than in the queen rooms. The queens have dark paneling on the wall (which was still okay), but the doubles are a little "brighter."”
