Spent 1 week here over the summer.
Pros: Clean and spacious.
Cons. The interiors were all out of date. The boating equipment was broken or in poor condition. There was a lot of noise, esp, from the leaf-blowing from neighboring properties. No views at all....More

My family of 12 and 4 dogs just returned from our weeks vacation at Oconnors in Lake George. The cabins are perfect in every way. We were all right on the lake. This place is wonderful. And Matt was the best

It's about a 15-30 minute drive depending on the day / time and the route you take. If you take route 9 you'll have to drive past the outlets and the traffic can really back up mid-day on the weekends. So on a Saturday mid-day along route 9 it will take a half hour. You can hop on route 87 (the highway) for two exits at any time of day and be there in 15 minutes. If you want to see what's in the area for dinner, shopping etc then take route 9. But try to avoid it mid-day - on the weekend particularly.
