My husband and I stayed here for one night back in September. I forget the name of the room, but it was next to the washroom. This place has a lot to offer and is really cozy. My only complaint is that the lighting in the bedroom was really really dark, so we had a hard time unpacking and finding... More

My daughter and I stayed at the RoosterComb Inn for two nights in the Little Porter room to facilitate nearby hiking trails. I chose this place for proximity to the High Peaks and the price, but the comfortable Adirondack charm was quite enjoyable. The room is small, but very comfortable for us. There was enough room to store our backpack... More

I loved this place. We had to share a bath but that was fine because the price extremely reasonable. This place is clean and warm and friendly and they pretty much leave you alone to do what you want. And if you are hiking or just traveling in the area it is wonderful to have a large kitchen that you... More

In a last minute panic to find a place, I downloaded hotels.com to my phone and found Rooster Comb available for that night. I selected it, paid for it, and realized I did not even know where it was. With my smart phone, we found it but when we arrived there was no one there. 'Come on IN' the sign... More

Our accommodations in the Rooster Comb Suite were attractive, comfortable, and clean. The suite’s private bathroom was well stocked with towels, a hair dryer, and a variety of shampoo and body washes. The Inn’s full eat in kitchen was spotless and had ample pots, pans, and dishes for anyone who wants to cook. Wine glasses and corkscrews too! In minutes,... More

We were traveling with our adult daughter, her two year old, her infant and our two dogs. The Spread Eagle room was available and suited us just fine. The room was clean, there are four twin beds in it, with a kitchen area upstairs. The bathroom was shared, but large and clean. There is also a half bath if the... More

Like Emily S., we too stayed in the Rooster Comb Suite as we wanted a private bathroom however 4 women staying next door and another gentleman in another room appeared to have no issues sharing the two bathrooms. Our room was rustic, clean, the bed comfortable and relaxing after a long day hiking. We were greeted by the owner who... More

We stayed here for the good price. Its laid back and friendly, although rooms are small and dark. fine if you can be outside most of the time, and nice to have the kitchen. Only one available shower/bath for 4 rooms plus extra toilet but didn't seem to be a problem. Rooms are all along one hallway so noise could... More

We stayed in the RoosterComb Suite with our German Shepherd after a long day of hiking. The room was very clean & charming with rustic furnishings. We used the fully stocked community kitchen to make dinner, it was very convenient. There was a back deck door that was great for taking our dog outside without disturbing other guests. We were... Lovely place to stay. Very clean and well-kept. Nice kitchen area where you could cook your own meal or make a cup of coffee or tea. Decor is rustic wooden beds and tables. Close to the trails, so great as a place to rest after a hard hike. Would definitely stay again.
