My sister and I stayed at the Bark Eater Inn for two nights (and would've stayed forever if they'd let us!). The Inn is a beautifully restored farmhouse, with plank floors, a stone fireplace and cozy sitting porches. What captured my attention, however, were the gardens, which were in full bloom in late September! Breakfast was homemade and locally sourced...

Thank you both so much! We were really excited that you got out to explore the grounds and gardens. It was so great to have guests fully using the playground that is our back yard! We hope to see you and maybe your families again sometime!

We had the pleasure of staying in the Bark Eater Inn´s cabin while visiting family in the area. The cabin was excellent! Spacious, well-equipped and comfortable bed and atmosphere. The location in the woods gives a wilderness experience with wildlife right outside the door, but while still being close to amenities. Thank you for our pleasant stay!

We had another great long weekend at this beautifully restored small inn. The grounds and views are amazing, with gardens, meadows, and a beaver pond all surrounded by the High Peak views. The historic inn and rooms have a lot of character. We slept well every night thanks to the mountain air and luxurious bedding. The location is perfect, close...

If there were a Mobile Five Star rating for B&B's, The Bark Eater Inn would be at the top of the list!! Simply put, a Great Camp Era mountain house experience, updated with a modern aesthetic. The Inn is situated among 200 acres of mountain meadows and woodlands with walking paths that provide stunning, rarely seen far eastern views of...

Upon arrival to this inn, we were greeted by the owners Ellen & Paul who were extremely warm and welcoming! They immediately offered to show us around the property. The rooms were beautifully redone with plush beds and inviting linens - so comfy you almost don't want to leave the room. The breakfast which is included was homemade by Meghan...

Meghan and Robin were gracious hosts. Wonderful farm to table breakfasts. Rooms and amenities were terrific. Excellent job restoring an old Adirondack B&B. We were extremely pleased with our stay and would definitely return for a longer visit. Great oatmeal raison cookies, Meghan!!

Our group of friends and family spent a long weekend in July at the Bark Eater Inn. In a word, it was "magical". The days started with the mist rising over the mountains as if we were in a fairy tale. After delicious coffee and freshly made breakfasts (including eggs from chickens raised on the property and vegetables and fruits...

We stayed in the Maple Room- one of the several newly and tastefully renovated rooms in this historic inn. Brand new private bathroom and private porch entrance, with beautiful views. There is a well-appointed guest kitchen, and lots of nice common areas to relax or mingle with other guests (guest kitchen, dining area, screened porch, reading room, and outdoor seating...

We had a cordial and friendly welcome as our summer 2016 began with wonderful lodging at the Bark Eater Inn at Kean NY. We were pleasantly surprised to find the loveliest, comfortable and beautifully appointed Adirondack themed decor in an authentically built log cabin. We were prepared to go 'roughing it', thinking the cabin was to be primitive! Instead we...

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at the Bark Eater Inn. The space has been newly remodeled and was a beautiful respite to start our summer vacation. The inn was impeccably clean and provided a serene and peaceful home away from home. The owners, Paul & Ellen, were very warm and friendly, and gave our family a wonderful...
