No improvement in the last two years whatsoever. View from rooms is best described as a view of Beirut. Plumbing works after a fashion, towels are see through. Food still over cooked and tasteless. WiFi hit and miss. Staff though are helpful and friendly but we're more interested in watching the TV at one point.

Very glossy on the web but do not be deceived. Only one lift working, under staffed, rooms OK but basic, plumbing not reliable. Roof top pool stank of urine and was most definitely not hygienic enough to swim in. To get a beer required a hunt for a member of staff. Food was more akin with school dinners and breakfast...

Dakhla the wind surfing capital of the world, where most visitors stay at the hotels set on the beaches and cliffs adjacent to the water. Recently I visited this coastal city, staying only the one night and as our group were not there for the water sports, we booked into the Sahara Regency in the centre of the city. This...

I stayed in this hotel many times and im always surprised how worn out everything is. Food is average and during ramadan its hard to get food even tough you are a foreigner. The staff in reception are very nice and friendly

Nice staff, reasonably well cared for, this is the original posh hotel in Dakhla. The rooms are large, the pool on the roof is a bonus and the bar is lively enough. It can be a bit noisy from the sounds of the planes in the airport on occasion, but the proximity makes it dead convenient all the same. I...

Quite good Hotel. It as spa, with gymnasium, sauna, pool in the roof, massage service, Wi-fi service in the lobby, they will provide you the pass. People are very nice, and they speak English, Spanish and French. Very good for families and groups. Because it's a coastal area, with a large and an attractive beach, you can find lots of...

just back from an 8 day stay windsurfing trip in Dakhla, the hotel/camp combination offered by the Sahara Regency is the best way to see both the lagoon and the city, Even though we were present during the month of ramadan we had absolutely no problems and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. My friends were able to change...

I have stayed at the Sahara Regency in December 2010 for one night. It is centrally located has large rooms but it is very impersonal like a hotel at a Hotel Chain ( I like more small privately owned Guesthouses). It was o.K., but not very special. The staff is not fluent in english.
