This is an average non-luxury hotel. It's a good deal at $55 per night, the lowest price in Jamestown. The rates go up after Memorial day.The building is old, mostly remodeled. There are no interior corridors, and it's quiet at night, unlike some other hotels. The location is very good, between downtown Jamestown, and the shopping plazas of suburban Lakewood, 5... More

Our stay at the America's Best Value was very good. The room was clean and included a little fridge, the pool was clean and the breakfast offering was enormous. Waffles, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, fruit etc. Definately would stay again. My only suggestion would be that they could use friendlier staff at check inn.

Not too bad of a place for the price. A little dated for sure, but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a nice touch. We had our choice of waffles, french toast, english muffins, bagels, cereal, and apples. Plus coffee, hot tea, and 3 different juices. My only issue was with Hotwire, who I had booked the room... This is a charming hotel located in a historical building that makes you think of the days of the Goldrush. Although very affordable, the hotel is in need of a renovation - the bathrooms are really old. I would recommend this hotel if you need to stay a night in Jamestown, perhaps while travelling to Yosemite National Park.

As soon as I walked into lobby to book in, the smell was overwhelming! The owner acted like I was making up remarks about the stink of the lobby. Went to room and the smell was so bad we went to Dollar Store immediately for air fresheners. It did not help the putrid smell. I requested a refund! Owner said... More

Nice small, old style motel where you can park at the door. Budget prices, very clean and the beds were nicer than we have slept in at much more expensive motels. Free breakfast is very limited and there is not much at all if you are trying to eat healthfully...we just ended up having OJ. Still, the breakfast is not... More

My advice is to be 100% positive that you will be staying at this hotel before booking. We had to unexpectedly change our vacation plans. We called to cancel our reservation 23 hours before check-in and were told it couldn't be cancelled because it was within their 24 hour cancellation window. So, that's $100+ wasted. On a good note- we... More

Stayed there for two nights, this Hotel is in a beautiful little town, people who work there are friendly but the room is not thrilling... AC can not be shut down and is very noisy, same with the bathroom, very noisy, also both sides/neighbours - the walls are very thin and can hear everything. There was no roomservice (for doing... Just please...go somewhere else. Stains on the bedding...used bar of soap in the bathroom....mysterious hairs everywhere. This place is crawling with creepy people. Maybe consider sleeping in your car if there aren't any other options.

“We stayed on the ground floor and the vehicles park in front the rooms. Late nighters return and you can hear the opening and closing of the vehicles trunks and doors. Can be annoying to a light sleeper. People walk fronting the room to the dining area on the ground floor between 7am to 10am for complimentary breakfast and may be upsetting for someone who wants to sleep in late.”
