we absolutely loved this place. I do wish I had read about the history before we went, as the founder (original) has the same birth date as my husband, and both are/were in Masonic lodges! Maybe that's why my husband felt so at home here! This place was so nice, I haven't the correct words to express how wonderful!! and...

We have stayed at many B&Bs, this one ranks very high on our list. Beautiful building that looks like a castle, lovely décor, fabulous breakfast. Innkeeper Richard is a very enjoyable host with plenty of suggestions about the area. I can't wait to stay here again!!

A really great Bed and Breakfast. A beautiful historic building that has been magnificently restored. We visited Jamestown to go to the Lucy -Desi Musuem. We considered the area motels before deciding on The Oaks to stay at. We were not disappointed. We stayed in the Belvedere room which was large and very nice. The breakfast was great, Joe and...

We were in town for a reunion and family visit. Nice, clean, quiet accommodations with a fantastic breakfast every day we were visiting. Richard and Joe were friendly and attentive to all our needs. I spent the days hanging out while my husband visited friends he knew. Their four Wheaten terriers were a delight to have around. They sat by...

The Oaks B&B is one of the best places I have ever enjoyed. The residence is absolutely gorgeous and the host, Richard, is welcoming and warm. The rooms are each one of a kind, and the feeling is homey. Breakfast was well presented and the food was plentiful and rich. The location was perfect, a short drive (or even a...

We visited Jamestown for the Lucy Comedy Festival. We were taken to our beautiful room that was kept nicely cooled for the hot weather. All the rooms were very clean and the hosts were accommodating. The Oaks is walking distance to the festival and near by many restaurants and stores. Our host, Richard offered ideas of other things to do...

I love the setting and style of this old mansion turned into a B&B and we stay here almost once a year. The only thing that keeps me from rating it 5 star is the room we stayed in this time had caterpillars and the blinds are the cheapest plastic Walmart stock item you could get. A lovely old and...

We had a wonderful experience at The Oaks. The room was immaculate, with lots of space. The whole place is beautifully decorated and very spacious. Richard and Joe were very accommodating and friendly during our whole stay. The breakfasts we had were AMAZING! Fresh fruit and yogurt parfaits every morning, along with a different pastry each day. The main course...
