Wonderful stay in this upscale hotel. Fabulous room at the top of the hotel. Huge breakfast will set you up for the whole day. Very nice restaurant, cozy speakeasy. Staff are super - Can't do enough for their guests. THE place to stay on the North Fork.

This inn has only 5 rooms, so we were unable to stay there, but we had dinner in the restaurant. The house is a living antique, an old narrow building with beautiful grounds, gardens, and a fountain surrounding, in the North Fork of Long Island. The dinner was excellent and not overpriced, and the Speakeasy Bar brings back the illicit...

Visited this place for dinner on a Saturday night. It was a full moon when we arrived and it gave the place a spooky feel (see the photo). The inside is magnificent. Fireplaces, comfortable chairs and couches for lounging while waiting for your table. Tiny bar, but nicely decorated with class. Expensive - $17.+ for a brandy. Wine at $17...

The service was very attentive, the atmosphere unique, the food was fresh, different and delicious. We were told all the produce was from local farm stands and the cheese was from a Long Island Goat Farm. HIghly recommended evening out in the summer, where you can sit outside under big umbrellas on the side patio of this Inn. If you...

Let me start by saying I have been eagerly looking forward to this overnight for a long time. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a gentleman at the front desk. He brought us to the Cocoa Room. As we were unpacking, we realized the room was not completely cleaned. Hairs in the bathroom, rugs not vacuumed. I told the...

A wonderful hotel and restaurant. Staying there overnight qualifies as an experience: you feel like stepping back in time, yet with all modern-day amenities and with tremendous attention to detail. Dinner and breakfast are just great. The staff are fantastic, going out of their way to anticipate your needs; and the owner treats you like family.

3 years ago we had the wedding of our dreams here, and Jedediah Hawkins Inn continues to be our perfect romantic escape! The food is absolutely delicious, and truly some of the best that Long Island has to offer. There is no better ambiance for dinner than this charming inn and its beautiful landscape. The staff is amazing, especially Colin...

pros: 1st time: Food was great, drinks from bartender always "extra" good, service was good, atmosphere was incredible, a mushroom soup so good I want to go back just for that, the ambiance of the lush landscape and the cozy comfort of the sofa seating in the sunroom makes me want to go back again and again. Cons: Duck was...

Stayed one night, and had dinner on the outdoor terrace. Excellent experience, but i would sit indoors next time (buggy outside). Room was beautiful, with a very nice bathroom. We love riding the bikes the Inn provides for a quick tour of the area and local beach. Wonderful place for a night or two. Very close to many vineyards.
