We have stayed several times at City Lights and have enjoyed ourselves each time. Collin and Aaron are very helpful and do their best to accommodate my large family's many requests - even our dog. Weekend breakfasts are bountiful and great. The brothers take your order for omelets or offer french toast, pancakes etc - even working with our daughter's... More

This place is a restored farm house on an old farm on the hills overlooking downtown Ithaca. There are only a handful of rooms each of which have been decorated with country charm. The Inn is run by two brothers who are very friendly and helpful. They also cook a wonderful breakfast for you on certain days. If you like... More

Our experience wasn't as great as some of the other guests who have reviewed this property. We were in the studio--the room is a little small and it has six doors/openings! Three of those doors lead to other parts of the house, but were closed by simple latches. That was a bit odd+creepy, but not terrible. Our stay was for... More

A very comfortable place to spend a couple of days - we truly enjoyed meeting the young twin brothers who are working hard to succeed at their bed and breakfast dream. They focus on meeting the needs of the guests. The room was spacious and pleasant. We loved the resident cats and dog! (Not to worry if you have allergies-... More

Just spent 3 nights at City Lights and highly recommend. We stayed in the spacious North Suite - very comfortable. Close to Ithaca and so much beautiful scenery. Collin & Aaron are great -- very hospitable & cooked a delicious breakfast each morning. They have big plans for the surrounding land and do most of the work themselves. We would... More

Friendly place out in the country though only 2 miles from Ithaca. Run by young twin brothers, the inn has comfortable clean quiet rooms with private entrances. An outstanding breakfast (omelettes to order on the weekends) is served is a big beautiful farmhouse kitchen. The only negative was that the owners have decided that guests do not want their rooms... Spent 4 nights here in May in the North Suite. Delighted to find a spacious room with a large, well fitted bathroom and an enormous kitchen. With our own front door to the verandah it was very much home-from-home and even though it was just off the road it was quiet at night and we slept soundly. Very good breakfast... More

We arrived a bit late and the owner was there to greet us and show us around. He was very helpful and personable. The room was spacious and very clean. “We stayed in "Granny's Room". There is no en-suite bathroom but the way the house is set up we had the floor to ourselves, so our bathroom was just down the hall. The room has a queen sized bed, so comfortable for a couple. There's a great view from the room, so I witnessed a beautiful sunrise one morning.”
