This hotel is built in hacienda style and directly at the center of Queretaro. That means you just walk downstairs and you have bars and restaurants to your right and to your left. Often even with live music, especially on Thursday, the traditional night for Mexicans to go out. This is nice if you are part of the crowd but...

The Gran Hotel is located in the middle of the beautiful and vivacious historic center of Queretaro. We spent two days just walking around here taking in the sights and activities. The rooms and public areas of the hotel are spacious, clean, and well designed. Unlike some luxury hotels in Mexico, they apparently have no water filtration system, although they...

The hotel has a beautiful architecture, a great location, nice restaurants below and balconies with a good view. On the other hand it is not very comfortable: I struggled with the shower to get a nice temperature it was either very hot or very cold, the breakfast is a joke you will end eating somewhere else, the WiFi was very...

I stayed at this hotel last Friday 11/2/15 , we had 2 rooms and it was impossible to sleep. Our 2 rooms where located on top to the restaurant , they have live music until 1:30 am then more loud music until 2:30 am. We requested a room change and the agent from the Front Desk did not care about...

I really wasn't expecting this old hotel to be so modern inside. The rooms are comfortable, and don't have that "old hotel" look. They look modern and, if you get an outside facing room, then you have a very nice view of the plazas and the buildings around. Yes, like other reviews, it's noisy, specially towards the weekends when the...

I stayed here for two nights for a business trip. The location is terrific: on a pedestrian square in the heart of the historic downtown. The rooms are spacious and nice. Breakfast is limited and not great but fine. I was in room 114 the first night, on a corner with windows on two sides. The view was incredible but...

Great restaurants on the main floor as well as fascinating architecture nearby. Definitely check out the field museum and the other churches adjacent to downtown. There's also plenty of street food vendors.

People complain about the noise and yes we could hear some. Our room was at the back and heard bells till 10pm and the music from the restaurant was minimal. I complain because it my nature I hate 2 knob faucet system it's like washing yourself driving a trolley adjusting the temp. My biggest complaint was the bed couldn't get...

The hotel is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and the location cannot be beat. Breakfast is limited but sufficient for those of us just looking for something quick before work. Coffee, eggs, meat, bread, yogurt and fruit. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. My room faced the church and the bells did not bother me at all....

The hotel is nice anf just in downtown. However valet parking is hidden, hard to find, and my room was not clean properly. Found a couple of bottled watter, but open and half empty. When reported to the administrator they said that "maybe the water evaporated", come on, are you kidding? The soap was used by a previous guest and...
