A bit old and outdated hotel. Peculiar smell of old rugs as soon as you walk in. Rooms are very spacious and very clean however. Free internet. I felt bad for the chubby bell boy who has to carry bags up to the high floors as there is no elevator. Poor guy was sweating and breathing hard from carrying my...

This hotel is beautiful, and steps away from plenty of restaurants and shops, in the city center. Unfortunately the service is only OK. I have to give this no more than three stars because the wireless did not work for our entire stay of four days. That would have been better if we were not continually promised it would be...

We stayed in the Marquesa suite, the whole place is beautiful and the room was fabulous. The bathroom has been modernized and air conditioning was central and the room cooled off quickly. Balcony to the pedestrian only street. Great service, valet parking, etc. we were well taken care of.

We have stayed here twice and were very pleased all around. This time there were several problems with our reservation and room assignment, but I won't go into that. The biggest problem was having a taxi pick us up for the airport. I called the front desk from my room for one, and came down 5 minutes later. After waiting...

From the onset of our stay Jorge and Ivan were like old friends, accomodating every question and request during the 4 nights that we stayed there! It was my birthday; they greeted me upon my arrival with a luscious slice of cake. When they heard how long we had traveled to Queretaro they immediately presented us with ice cold beers...

This is a centuries-old building with all its charms and quirks. Not for the unimaginative. Wonderful, welcoming staff. Hang out in the Moorish-themed lobby, drink some tequila, and listen to the piano bar. You won't see a place like this very often.

I was concerned about booking based on a couple of reviews. The printout of our reservation was sitting on the counter and I was referred to by name. Our first room was nice, but the one we received upon our return was amazing. The manager answered all of our questions with ease, even about vegetarian food options for our friend,...

We arrived on a very raining night. Our taxi arrangement with the hotel didn't get confirmed properly but our friend drove us from the airport downtown to the hotel. We arrived very late but the hotel waited from our arrival before going home. Because of the mix up on the taxi service the hotel management graciously provided us with an...

Wonderful place, very big room with high ceilings and a bathtub. Very good breakfast although it's not included. Staff are very helpful. The location is perfect, and there's WiFi in the rooms. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Located on the pedestrian street of Madero, the Casa de la Marquesa is a boutique hotel built in a historic mansion. There are only 13 guest rooms, each with its own character. I was given the Cristóbal Colon room, which boasts a rooftop patio and outdoor jacuzzi! The patio has view of the domes of nearby churches too! Being a...
