Hello While the vast majority of my reviews are positive, I feel compelled to share the issues I'm facing so you don't go through this yourself. I had planned to travel to this property in October but had to change plans. I followed the process to cancel my reservation on time and well ahead of the last date to do... More

The best thing about the Marquesa is its location in Centro. Perfect for enjoying the city treats. The staff were friendly. The lobby area of the old mansion is a delight but showing its age less than gracefully, the room OK but less than expected. Looking a tad tired. Room comments following are related to our room (Santa Maria) and... More

I am going to queretaro for business. During the weekend I am looking forward having a breakfast in this quiet and lovely place reading a good. Now is your turn to try! Also I like to go to central market to buy fruit and vegetable that I don't have as the same quality in France.

The hotel is one of the oldest houses in Queretaro! The rooms are big, although the furniture is a little outdated and worn. The rooms on the side are nice because you can open the windows and get fresh air. But, be aware that on the weekends those rooms noisy. We loved the location! Most other hotels are in plazas... A bit old and outdated hotel. Peculiar smell of old rugs as soon as you walk in. Rooms are very spacious and very clean however. Free internet. I felt bad for the chubby bell boy who has to carry bags up to the high floors as there is no elevator. Poor guy was sweating and breathing hard from carrying my... More

This hotel is beautiful, and steps away from plenty of restaurants and shops, in the city center. Unfortunately the service is only OK. I have to give this no more than three stars because the wireless did not work for our entire stay of four days. That would have been better if we were not continually promised it would be... More

We stayed in the Marquesa suite, the whole place is beautiful and the room was fabulous. The bathroom has been modernized and air conditioning was central and the room cooled off quickly. Balcony to the pedestrian only street. Great service, valet parking, etc. we were well taken care of.

We have stayed here twice and were very pleased all around. This time there were several problems with our reservation and room assignment, but I won't go into that. The biggest problem was having a taxi pick us up for the airport. I called the front desk from my room for one, and came down 5 minutes later. After waiting... More

From the onset of our stay Jorge and Ivan were like old friends, accomodating every question and request during the 4 nights that we stayed there! It was my birthday; they greeted me upon my arrival with a luscious slice of cake. When they heard how long we had traveled to Queretaro they immediately presented us with ice cold beers... More

This is a centuries-old building with all its charms and quirks. Not for the unimaginative. Wonderful, welcoming staff. Hang out in the Moorish-themed lobby, drink some tequila, and listen to the piano bar. You won't see a place like this very often.
