Spent there three nights and did trips to Naukluft mountains and Namib desert. Day trip to Namib takes easily 10 h, but it is definitely worth it. The drive from the restcamp to Namib goes through such an amazing landscape. The owner Karsten is an awesome and very helpful host. His own-cooked food self-baked bread is very delicious. Overall the...

The beds were good The shower was also good I appreciate particulary the complet breakfest packet, as I leaved early. My only regret was to not can charge the mobile because of a bit long power interruption, due to the stormy weather.

We stayed in this Restcamp as a base to visit Sossusvlei since all the lodges close to Sossusvlei did not have any availability. The restcamp is 2 hours away by car but I would still opt for this restcamp if you do not have any other option. The restcamp is basic and clean. We opted for dinner and I can...

We stayed at the Capricorn Rest Camp while traveling from Windhoek to Sossusvlei. Initially we thought of it as a quick stop inbetween the two locations but it turned out to be so much more! The location is amazing. Its extremely quiet and peaceful and you will enjoy the nice surroundings! At night we had a very clear view on...

We stayed here for two nights in Aug / Sept 2015. Although the rooms are basic, they are clean and you have all you need. Karsten is a welcoming and friendly host who is keen to advise on sights in the area and is an interesting chap. The food is very good and there is plenty of it. Capricorn Rest...

An excellent and restful place to find your feet in Namibia. Karsten is an excellent host and able to answer so many questions. The cabins are basic, but comfortable, with power for lighting and charging batteries. You can sit on the terrace outside your room then go to Karsten's house for a relaxed meal. Returning along the path you become...

Karsten was a very welcoming host who provided a delicious dinner & breakfast on his front verandah overlooking his garden. The camp is run on solar power, so power is limited but plenty of hot water. The rooms are very clean but basic. There is no internet.

We were pleasantly surprised in Capricorn rest camp. We stayed here for one night on our way to Luderitz. We found the cottage to be clean, neat and comfortable.
