I wanted to write a review to counter a lot of the negative comments on this lodge. We stayed here for 1 night as part of a 7 day safari tour. The lodge is located in the middle of the in some of the most amazing mountain surrounded savannah. We had a great dinner which was only improved by the...

The rooms are small and in need of updating. The bathroom door did not shut properly and there was no plug for the sink (in a country where water is in short supply). The air conditioning consisted of a ceiling fan which did not cool the room at all. The restaurant and bar areas were lovely but dinner was expensive. The...

We stopped here for lunch on our tour of the area. The property has an impressive location & the buildings look great but the expensive lunch was pretty basic & uninspiring. Staff did their job but nothing more.

We spent one night at Twyfelfontein Country Lodge not quite sure what to expect after reading all the mixed reviews. We thought that the lodge was great and the setting quite spectacular. The rooms were comfortable and clean (possibly a bit hot at night) with a nice little outdoor area with great view. The bar area in the main bulding...

A magic place in the middle of no where. The main lodge was like being in a magnificent tree house. The Wifi was slow, only worked in the main lodge, but considering everything else, it was worth it. The rooms are warm, only fans and open windows for cross ventilation. DON'T MISS THE WORLD HERITAGE SITE OF TYWFELFONTAIN ROCK ART!!!...

Absolutely beautiful setting. Pool needs to be cleaner. We ran into many pools in Africa that were not properly treated. The buffet was very good considering you are in the middle of nowhere. The staff did a very enthusiastic song and dance which was a great pleasure. They seemed to take great joy in their performance and I know that they...

We had the chance to get a room with view on...the rocks behind the hotel at the longest walking distance you could get to reach the main building an dinner area. No airco in the rooms, it can get very hot at night. Dinner is self service so you'd better be there soon, not the best food in Namibia. Very...

Comfortable room/cottage looking out onto the magnificent plains and mountains in the distance. Its amazing how they built the hotel into/onto the rocks, so it is surrounded by a natural rock garden. Food is good tho all self service, and both dining room and bar have the same breathtaking view.
