Right on the beach front, private double room with shower was great - clean, lots of plug sockets and really spacious. Cost 3500 MT in June.
Some of the staff seem a little bit uninterested but didn't ruin our stay.

We had wonderfull time in Baobah Beach Backpackers.
The Italian Manager was nice and explained everyting to us very nicelly.
The rooms were brand new and staff very kind.

Yes I would say that this is a couple destination. However I found some backpackers and I also went solo and had a wonderful time! So it is up to you, if you are used to travel solo you will not have any problem. The place... More
Yes I would say that this is a couple destination. However I found some backpackers and I also went solo and had a wonderful time! So it is up to you, if you are used to travel solo you will not have any problem. The place is beautiful and there are places to go and things to do. Enjoy!

@tancb2016, I read that about the walking, too, so I went there feeling a bit paranoid. To be honest I didn't feel like it was unsafe during the day but I'd take a tchopela (tuk-tuk) to get around night. For your reference... More

To be honest I didn't feel like it was unsafe during the day but I'd take a tchopela (tuk-tuk) to get around night. For your reference, when I took a tchopela from here to the center town it was about 150 Mets. I didn't travel with children, though.
