Eight of us were in town for a memorial and we all stayed here. Doug and Peter are the bests hosts you could ever hope for. The rooms, dinner, and breakfast were all all just perfect. Made a sad time better. Thank you!

This was our second visit to the Benn Conger Inn. The first time was during the summer a year and a half ago and this time was over Columbus Day weekend. Doug and Peter are the innkeepers and they are lovely people. In fact, during our first visit, they were throwing a wedding for free to a couple who had...

We couldn't have found a nicer place to stay during our visit to Ithaca College. It was truly perfect, as other family members were meeting up with us on our trip. The inn and Victorian cottage are beautiful, and the restaurant and bar are beyond charming, with wonderful food and drink. Doug and Peter go above and beyond to ensure...

Dropped in last night to meet family for dinner and drinks, but got the time wrong and got there an hour early. The staff there was gracious, gave us generous pours at the bar, and gave us a tour of the building while we waited. This is what an Innkeeper should be: warm, kind, able to create and maintain an...

The Benn Conger is a must! There are several uniquely decorated rooms that combine historical charm with modern convenience. The bar and restaurant are charming, and the innkeepers are a delight. This is the perfect location for a family trip, girls winery weekend, or a romantic getaway.

Serene Central New York villages and countryside sparkle in the fall. Hillocks of wine grapes and truck farms, small town seasonal events, glacier-created streams and waterfalls, craft-breweries and wine tours cry to be enjoyed and celebrated. In the midst of this autumnal abundance the Benn Conger Inn in Groton, New York, is a welcoming B& B with spacious rooms, lush...

In Mid-August, our extended family rented the main house and second house at the Benn Conger Inn. We were in the area for a family wedding. Owners Doug and Peter were awesome hosts to our large and somewhat demanding group. They took all in stride with smiles and a joyful spirit. We found the rooms very clean and extremely comfortable....

Mozzarella sticks were good appetizer, two nice prime ribs with good zucchini/squash medley were cooked just the way we asked. Baked potato and potato wedges weren't great but not bad. 3 glasses of wine. Raspberry cheese cake and coffee were good. Wine selection was good. $116 including tip. Waitress was very nice, just the right amount of attention. Overall worth...
