Just recently visited with my family of four and couldn't be happier with our experience here! Came up for a family wedding and this quaint getaway far exceeded our expectations. Hospitality was top drawer, Diane and the staff were impeccable! Was like staying at a loving grandmothers house! That coupled with the outstanding food from the restaurant, sealed the deal...

Wonderful location on the big part of GWL with lovely terrace setting. Service nice. Food disappointing - comes out of a freezer with probable microwave warming. At least it tastes that way. Was a one time visit and may be an aberration. But for 9 people, the meals sucked.

Cute place with rustic charm. We had almost the whole place for a family wedding nearby. It was very clean and the owners were nice. Great views. We had room 29 on the third floor. Nice little town. Would love to come back in the summer!

We have had a vacation home on the Lake since '01, coming here since '94. The Continental was always noted as we passed by cruising around the Lake, but never stopped in as looked to be in disrepair for most of that time. We noted the recent renovations/patio/new docks that were put in, and said we would give it a...

can't give a higher rating. The wonderful staff hospitality balances the fact that it's an old hotel in need of some maintenance and cleaning. With the exception of the dining room and bar, it's just a bit tired and worn. The furnishings, carpet and paint need cleaning or freshening. The food in the dining room ranged from average to excellent....

Diane, the innkeeper is extremely accommodating and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The view is incredible and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Stay here and you can't go wrong! Every room is different and comfortable

Nice views, great wait staff. Menu is limited. Cocktails and Cordials greatly overpriced and undersized. My flat iron medium steak wasnt even rare, it was so undercooked and loaded with fat and grizzle. Nice place, but probably won't return. What a shame.

This one is tough. The hotel itself is very old and in desperate need of some cleaning up. Dont get me wrong, the Hotel is peaceful, quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. Excellent view of the lake from our 3rd floor king room. Here was my issue. For the price of $120.00 per night, the room was not worth...

No need to discuss views. The patio overlooking the lake is one of the best spots on the lake. We have been here a number of times and the experience keeps getting better. There is now a number of speciality drinks that were tasty and refreshing on a sunny day. We had the chips and guacamole appetizer which was very...

We just got back from our early summer stop at the "New" Continental Hotel, an old hotel on Greenwood Lake with a history going back to the 19th Century. The patio by the lake looked lovely and we regretted that the rain kept us from having lunch right by the water. But the views from the dining room were fantastic...
