Room was pleasant, with a view of the river. Bathroom like much of the hotel was tired, shabby and not very clean. Corridor and fire door very noisy. Lots of commotion on first night due to drunken guests, when reported it took a long time to deal with- 3.30am in fact! The following day I found out that other guests...

So where do I start.... at reception I guess. So when I checked in i found that I could upgrade to a privilige room for an extra £20 per night. A priviliege room meant that I would have a mini bar with free soft drinks, up graded toilitries, bathrobe and slippers and a larger room. Well it was a larger...

Stayed at this hotel as part of a two day trip to Thorpe park, it's literally 5 mins away. Upon arrival, we were greeted politely by the receptionist and had the offer of having help with our bags - don't think there are any lifts in this hotel. There are so many different corridors that it may be tricky to...

only about 5 minutes drive from Thorpe Park, it has a great view over the river from the terrace. The Terrace has lots of seating and tables so even when its busy you can sit down. The rooms are good with everything needed plus a few unexpected items. The beds are very comfy however the blankets are quite thick. The...

Indeed I didn't have great time here: - I was given the famous (on TripAdvisor) room 56 which has no view on the river because of the trees, despite the price I paid for the view and even though I evidenced that to the concierge; - carpets in the hallways have quite a bad smell; - pumps outside the room...

After a long day at Thorpe Park we crashed out in a comfy bed, breakfast was delicious and so was our stay. Perfect position for visiting Thorpe Park and in a good location for restaurants. The only downfall is parking, we couldn't get a space and had to park in the pay and display carpark.

Good hotel, decent room, nice to overlook the river, good breakfast. Clean and comfortable, nice staff. Only thing is that there is no lift so if you struggle with stairs be warned as a couple of stairways get narrow and don't have a handrail.

Me and my partner stayed here for 1 night and we thought it was a lovely hotel! Staff all friendly and welcoming! Room was decent size and bathroom was really nice. 10 minute drive to Thorpe Park and you have the bus station just over the road! Limited parking so I would recommend booking in the hotel at around 1:00pm-2:00pm!...

A very convenient location close to Heathrow after a busy overseas business trip. Staff from check in to bar and restaurant were all very courteous and efficient. Lovely large room with terrace over looking the river made for a pleasant stay. Evening meal and breakfast were all of a good standard.
