My daughter and I planned a halloween weekend at Thorpe Park. The hotel was just 3 miles away.Tthe outside was not great but our room was lovely, very well maintained as was all the areas I saw and immaculately clean. The breakfast room was really nice as was the breakfast itself. A very nice hotel

So I stayed here 12 months ago and said that it looked tired back then, a member of the Management Team responded by saying works were soon to start..... My bed was OK it was 2 singles pushed together rather than a double. The windows of the river view room are that thin that you hear when a passing Swan...

Let's start with some positives.... We just got home after a three night stay after our daughter had her wedding reception at Thames Lodges Staines. The hotel itself is in need of a little refurbishment. But this in no way detracted from the lovely experience we all had there. The staff, every one we came into contact with were absolutely fantastic, polite, friendly lovely people...

Nice comfortable stay in a lovely location. Having a superb cooked breakfast in restaurant overlooking the river Thames was wonderful. So why not 5 stars- there were some minor oversights that showed a lack of attention to detail. For example, the message pad in the room had clearly been serviced by just taking used pages off the top. The pad...

Room was pleasant, with a view of the river. Bathroom like much of the hotel was tired, shabby and not very clean. Corridor and fire door very noisy. Lots of commotion on first night due to drunken guests, when reported it took a long time to deal with- 3.30am in fact! The following day I found out that other guests...

So where do I start.... at reception I guess. So when I checked in i found that I could upgrade to a privilige room for an extra £20 per night. A priviliege room meant that I would have a mini bar with free soft drinks, up graded toilitries, bathrobe and slippers and a larger room. Well it was a larger...

Stayed at this hotel as part of a two day trip to Thorpe park, it's literally 5 mins away. Upon arrival, we were greeted politely by the receptionist and had the offer of having help with our bags - don't think there are any lifts in this hotel. There are so many different corridors that it may be tricky to...

Indeed I didn't have great time here: - I was given the famous (on TripAdvisor) room 56 which has no view on the river because of the trees, despite the price I paid for the view and even though I evidenced that to the concierge; - carpets in the hallways have quite a bad smell; - pumps outside the room...
