The Chicken Kiev was refunded without my asking, many thanks. A very busy time of year so the food seemed a little 'pre-packed and frozen' then deep fat reheated rather than their usual home cooked...

Just wanted to say thanks again for all the efforts the staff went to yesterday (3rd Jan) to accommodate our Staff Lunch. We arrived quite early so really appreciated the Chef and kitchen team bringing things forward as much as they could. In the Bar before being seated, we were served swiftly, with beaming smiles from the bar staff and...

We visited on a Sunday for a roast dinner. Lovely well cooked food in a great atmosphere. A good choice of mains. We both really enjoyed our lunch and thought the portions were of a good size. Sitting in the dinning room by the window gives you a nice view of the river. Would recommend

When for a Boxing Day family meal. Booked in early November, asked at the time about table locations and was advised that large tables would be in the centre of the restaurant with river views. Our table was the only one in the dark bar area with a view of the car parking. Food was not only expensive but awful....

We made the mistake of booking our Christmas day lunch here. McDonald's would have been better. We paid £69 PP for a three course lunch which was pre-ordered back in November. As everyone else had to pre-order, the kitchen must have known exactly what to expect. We arrived at 1pm & 20mins later our amuse bouche came which was smoked...

Just had Christmas Day set lunch with family. Food was standard but service/customer care dreadful:impersonal welcome, confusion over menu ordered 2 months ago, several ignored requests for drinks and condiments, extremely slow and disorganised service of food. Recommend you avoid. Merry Christmas.

decided to pop in for Sunday lunch following a walk with our dog. He was welcome in the bar area and there was a lovely fire burning. We had a really nice relaxed lunch, we went for the traditional roast, one pork and one lamb. Vegetables were served in a separate dish to share. Portions were a very good size...

I had a business meeting in Staines and arrived at the hotel after the kitchens had closed, but staff rustled up a fabulous dinner and were charming throughout my stay. I will definitely stay again as I really enjoyed my time at the hotel.

Food very poor and delivered lukewarm. Bedrooms need upgrading with improved beds, pillows and duvets. The worse sleep I have had in a long time. With its amazing location this hotel should be fabulous.

Worst place I have ever dined in and extremely expensive. We asked for two Charcuterie platter as starters, It too a long time to arrive and it came with 4 small slices of chorizo, 4 slices of salami and 3 very small ones of ham, a few olives and 8 slices of bread all this for nearly £19 each ....
