I have just spent the best 4 days on safari ever. Just to put it into perspective i have now stayed in 5 different camps. Stretch my guide and host is an amazing character - superbly knowledgeable on all things safari orientated. I am a well meaning amateur photographer - he took me to unbelievable vantage points and I have...

We are a couple in our 50s and have tried a couple of safari camps. For us this is exactly what we wanted – balancing the trade-off between luxury and authentic animal experience. Very comfortable camp, great food and plenty of it, with a marvellous setting right on the bank of the Zambezi with a view straight up stream. But...

I have been a visitor to Mana Pools regularly over the last 20 years. The first experience I can remember was fishing with my family and camping along the river. Thereafter it was regular visits to camps and lodges in the area. My husband and son love fishing , game viewing and share my passion for walking in the bush....

Stretch and his able team of safari guides provided the best ever safari. We tracked and often encountered a large variety of wild animals including wild dogs, lion, elephant, hippo, eland, kudu, impala, warthog and baboon. The guiding skills were impeccable and there was a "wow" factor every single day, much to our delight. Several of the guides were incredibly...

I'd heard so much about Mana Pools, but nothing prepares you for the reality! The most beautiful light and elephants wherever and whenever you look! I drove to Goliath Camp and was so exhausted I had decided not to go on the afternoon activity, but the warm and enthusiastic welcome I received from Stretch instantly changed my mind. He said...

We decided to start our safari to Zimbabwe at Goliath as we were interested in a more walking based safari and had heard and read great reports on the charismatic Stretch Ferreira. Due to the travel arrangements from the UK we arrived at the camp on our first night as dusk fell so our first meeting with the great man...

After our stay at the Hide in Hwange Park, we flew in a small plane to Mana Pools and Goliath Camp in the north of Zimbabwe. One of the great things about planning a trip in Zimbabwe is that everybody knows everybody. So we were easily able to organize the logistics of small plane travel between the two camps -...

We spent three nights in Mana Pools at Goliath Tented Camp in late April 2015 – a completely magical experience. What really makes Goliath is the staff. From the first email the response was brilliant, with Flo patiently answering our numerous questions, and this continued once at the camp – all the staff were fantastic and their wildlife knowledge was...

On my sixth - or is it seventh? I seem to lose count - visit to Goliath we broke the leopard jinx...we have been coming consistently, not because we want to see the spotted one, but because this camp is my idea of heaven and I come annually to renew my spirits and refresh my soul. Cut off from all...
