We stayed here for 4 nights over New Years and what a treat. If you're looking for real barefoot luxury; stunning surroundings and excellent service and food, look no further. Desroche is a traveler and luxury holiday maker's dream come true. Wish we could go back this year but understand island is closed until January 2017. Sincerely hopw the redevelopment...

We stayed for a week on Desroches and it is indeed a perfect island paradise. We often felt like we had the whole island to ourselves. This is partly due to the 'less is more' mentality of the previous owners who, fortunately, resisted over-developing the small island. Moreover, the villas are discretely positioned behind natural foliage so we were not...

Beautiful Island great for cycling around and soaking up the sun and local atmosphere. The accommodation is luxurious but simple classic which is what we wanted. The walk along the beach to the local village a real experience and secluded.

We tagged on two nights in Desroches to our holiday in Mahe and we only wish we had just spent all the money on going straight to Desroches. From the great flight, warm welcome and stunning views on arrival, through to the team drinks, amazing food, activities and private suites we couldn't have asked for more! The weather was a...

We were lucky to spend 8 days here for the start of our honeymoon and we didn’t want to leave. The island of Desroches is like a scene from Robinsons Crusoe. It’s absolutely stunning and we really felt like we were having such fun adventures exploring the island on our bikes. The staff made us feel like royalty, they were...

We recently took a family holiday to Desroches. Oh heaven on earth!! The luxurious villas had everything your heart could desire, yet also an understated style that allowed for you to put your feet up and relax. Meters away a breathtakingly beautiful turquoise ocean, white sandy beaches just calling you to explore and swim and soak up the sun. Parked...

We recently visited Desroches Island. Beautiful island and our villa was stunning. However we were very disappointed with the service as the people were not very helpful or friendly. This is understandable as they were soon to have no job due to the closure of the hotel soon as the four seasons hotel is taking over. We were made to...

This was the most surreal destination I have ever been to. From the minute we arrived I felt relaxed and all my stresses were washed away. We arrived on the charter plane, all the staff waiting on the runway to greet us like we were some sort of royalty. Elitsa drove us through the island on a golf cart (they...

We stayed at Desorches isalnd in October 2015 for our honeymoon and a part of us never really left! If you think that this place looks too good to be true, be prepared to be surprised: it is even better than it looks! Our villa was very nice, with the open bathroom and plunge pool, as well as the big...
