This hotel was quaint, quiet and and excellent spot to unwind. The owners were great at highlighting local spots and nearby locations for day trips. Taking in the bay, Lake Ontario, Niagara Falls (a short drive) and nearby state park highlighted what this centrally located hotel had to offer. If you're looking to disconnect, this hotel is the place.

We stayed at Pleasant Beach Hotel for second time this summer, had such a good time first stay! We like to go to Rennessaince Festival, which is perfect to stay here after the festival. Great location on the water, great food & drinks too. Can't wait to go back next year.

My husband and I chose to make a reservation at this pet-friendly place based on its website info and a couple of phone conversations with the owner. We drove 300 miles (5 hours) to be so disappointed that we turned around and drove all the way home. Bonnie, the owner couldn't be bothered to show us to our room, but...

My wife and I dined at the PBH last week and our experience was disappointing. The menu offers the same tired food year after year and shows no creativity. The menus and salt/pepper shakers were greasy. The server gave us a bread plate for our salad and when serving us bread, we were left w/ no plates. The scallops were...

Don't just think of the hotel for a stay but for a wonderful meal. Took my 80 year old mother to Fair Haven on a sunny June day and we could not have had a better time. Sat under an umbrella. Our waitress was gracious and funny. Our sandwiches were tasty and the onion "rings" were out of this world....

I'm an Upstate NY girl and wanted a smaller wedding on the shores of Lake Ontario. I immediately fell in love with the idea of having my wedding at Pleasant Beach. I was thrilled when I called and Bonnie let me know that they had my date available. I made the trip that weekend and met with H. He quoted...

We stayed at the PBH for 1 week as part of a holiday from England with our 6 month old baby. The owner (Bonnie) was very friendly and helpful. The place is in a beautiful setting with a lovely view over the lake and a great balcony. The food is very good in the restaurant and bar with a good...

I booked 2 nights here for my mom's birthday after reading so many positive reviews. My sister, Mom and I shared room 1. I will start with the negatives: We had trouble breathing our whole first night because of the dust issue in the room. We would not even ATTEMPT using the ceiling fan as it was so dusty and...

If you like antiques, you'll like this inn. For me, it was paying a lot of money to be in a bedroom with furniture with chipped paint that I would have thrown away long ago. But that's just me. The owner is a curmudgeon. If you like that kind of colorful character, you'll like this inn. For me, I thought...

What a gem !!! We have traveled to this area many times in the past 40 years and just found this hidden treasure in Fair Haven, NY. At our age, this is just what we want for a week of R & R. Have always wanted to be catered to, and the "personal chef experience" did the trick. H and...
