My triplet boys and I had the pleasure of staying in this Country Home..Michael the innkeeper is a real doll.. The house tells a story with knick knack galore.. I told him he should make it an antique store.. He was friendly , kind and very accomodating to my family. A great little vacation:)!!! Kudos Michael

My friends and I stayed here for one night in the Hamptons over Memorial Day Weekend and were pleasantly surprised. Mike was so nice from the get go and was very helpful and accommodating. I have stayed at many hotels over the country and have never received service like I have here. It's not about perfection, the house is warm...

A lovely place to stay with a beautiful garden and outdoor area in general. We wanted to just sleep under the stars (and we did, for a little while at least)! Michael, the innkeeper, was a kind soul who treated us with care and generosity. We were just 4 kids (well in our 20's and 30's) needing some tender, loving,...

I stopped here at random while searching for a place to crash on the eve of the 2010 Mighty Hamptons Triathlon. Michael was very kind and accommodating. He even let me return after the race to clean up, sort gear, nap. I was not prepared for the expense of staying in Easthapmton, and Michael was kind enough to offer me...

We were in need of accomodation at 1:00 in the morning and Michael (inn-owner) was not only awake at that hour to answer our inquiry but went over and above his call of duty and gave us a very special place to stay. Without being overbearing, he provided a level of service that is rare to find.

Michael, the innkeeper greeted us upon arrival with a big smile and a warm hello. It was our first time traveling with our 15 month old dog and, if it's true what they say about dogs sensing danger, her tail wagging quickly put us at ease about our lodging. The Ritz Carlton it's not, but it is a wonderful country...

My husband, dog, and I stayed at the Bassett House Inn in East Hampton for a long weekend in August. We chose the Bassett House Inn because it is pet friendly and we were travelling with Marcus, our dog. Michael is the "innkeeper" and he is personable and accommodating, offering to make us the breakfast of our choice every morning,...

Where do I start. Old cars left in the overgrown back yard. Looked like a bad yard sale. Dilapadated house in need of repair. Really busy loud street, directly outside the front door. Dirty, filthy, dusty assortment of clutter, probably found on the side of the road. Micheal Bassett greets you immediately upon arrival with Credit card printer in hand...

I stayed at the Bassett House in East Hampton July 2010. It was my first stay there. I soon returned two weekends later for another stay I liked it so much. The rooms were clean (not at all "dank"). The location is excellent as was the service and comfort. The owner Michael Bassett is a wonderful and friendly guy, so...

I chose this B& B because they accomodate dogs and we travelled with ours this weekend. My husband and I both agreed that it is WAY overpriced. This is definately a country house complete with random knick knacks all over the place but it could use some renovations and less spiders. We didn't spend much time there and actually never...
