Lana and Phil were incredibly accommodating, friendly and helpful. Their house has lots of great features and most importantly the bed, pillows and shower were all luxurious. They made me feel completely at home. Thank yiu

Very friendly owners and a clean room. We enjoyed an ensuite room beautifully decorated and a very tasty breakfast. Would definitely recommend specifically for it's quiet location and picturesque surroundings; perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, walkers and cyclists. A wonderful place to escape everything.

With the place to ourselves we had a fab experience. Warm and cosy we settled in for a hot bath after a day cycling. Comfy bed with electric blanket ensured we were toasty warm. Amazing food with a portion fit to compensate for those burned calories. Thanks for a great stay - definitely recommend this place for a good night...

Attractive and characterful stone cottage facing green in centre of unspoilt very quiet village. Nicely presented inside too with painted stone walls and beams. The owner (Lana) was out when I arrived, but she had left me brief instructions and, by prior arrangement, a tasty spaghetti bolognese to microwave (the village pub had just closed although I could buy a...

My wife and I have stayed twice, in 2012 and 2013, while doing the Pennine Way in each direction. Lana made us so welcome each time and served up one of the best breakfasts I have ever had, with lots of fresh fruit. The cottage is cosy and warm. We had the double room at the front which isn't en...

This was an overnight halt for us on our way south from Scotland and although it was cool and drizzling outside it was warm and cosy inside as Lana, the landlady, had put the fire on in the lounge. Although she was out when we arrived she had left a note explaining how to make ourselves at home - and...

We stopped there for one night cycling C2C. The cottage is beautiful and the host is very friendly. The bedroom was very big and warm with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was very tasty too. There is a lockable garage for the bikes. Wifi was very usefull too as there is no phone reception in the village. We will be...

The Eastview B&B is very classy. My room was so comfortable and cozy that I wanted more to stay there than go on walking on the Pennine Way. The dining room and the lounge are lovely and landlady Lana made me feel like home after a long walking day. A wonderful stay with an excellent breakfast in the morning.
