As others have mentioned, the rooms are large, and very Arts and Crafts style. A historic hotel at a reasonable price and a great jump off point for other Arts and Crafts ventures. We came for a long weekend to play tourist of all things Arts and Crafts, and here is what we found ... 1) Friday nights there is... More

This historic inn in a charming history-saturated town near Buffalo (but feels a thousand miles away from Buffalo!) offers beautifully prepared food served in a unique setting--with a feel of authentic arts & crafts with a soupçon of Frank Lloyd Wright. Our lunch included Garcia's Message, a refreshing rum-based, lime-infused cocktail, cups of shrimp and lobster bisque (a menu staple)... More

Actually wasn't expecting much, despite the obvious history and significance. But was pleasantly surprised by the amount and quality of restoration. Not too much, not too little. They have preserved the floors, it appears, from the original, lending authenticity to the very spacious room we had. The bathroom is plain expansive, but very tastefully done with new fixtures that fit... More

The historical information on this place is very interesting and the campus across the street is great. We stayed in the group of rooms that is separate from the main lobby. (The other side of the restaurant). When you first enter the group area, there is a damp smell. This is never good. The room was fine if you don't... More

Upon leaving Niagara Falls we traveled to East Aurora, New York and stayed at the Roycroft Inn. The Inn is a throw back to a relaxed era and very relaxing, The rooms are large and very comfortable. The breakfast was per order, plated and served. Food was excellent as I had blueberry pancakes bacon and fruit, very tasty. The bathroom... More

Charming Inn, nice porch to sit and enjoy summer evening. Very clean, large room. Floors very squeaky as place is old so you will hear people walking in rooms above you. Lacks fitness center and pool if you are looking for those amenities. Staff was very friendly at check in and restaurant. Close walking distance to other area restaurants.

We arrived too late to go into the buildings on the campus, but after 5 hours of driving, it was still a great place to get in a stretch and stroll. We had dinner on the front porch, and while it was beastly hot, the porch was shaded and breezy, so a great break from the heat. The host and... More

Beautiful setting, fantastic food and service. The shops across the street are above average, and outstanding products. Worth the drive to this Inn. Will be back come Fall. The smoked salmon is the best I've ever had, and the chocolate flourless cake is to die for!

We booked a 4-room suite but then when we arrived they put us in a 3-room suite as they said there were no 4's available for the length of our stay. The third room was a bathroom, so it was really just a regular suite with no separate "rooms." I wouldn't be surprised if the 4th room was just a... More

We stayed one night as part of a road trip. This is a lovely craftsman inn where you are surrounded with special craftsman touches, the tiles, the Stickley furniture, lovely common rooms, wide verandas. It’s an immersive experience and worth the stop. We ate at the pub and thoroughly enjoyed the lobster bisque and the mediterranean plate with roasted red... More
