Johanna's motel is clean, bright, and pleasant, in a breathtaking setting, with a helpful and friendly staff. I would definitely go back. A great way to enjoy this lovely part of the state, just a short trip from NYC.

Stayed over Memorial Day weekend with my kids and I'll definitely go back. Quiet, clean, neat, reasonable rates, friendly staff. Large lot for trailers, boats, etc. Close enough to nearby attractions (Lebanon Valley Raceway, Limerock) but far enough away to be secluded.

We needed to stay at a moel near our house while our septic pipe was replaced. Originally we were told it would take 2 days so we made and paid for 2 days at Johanna's . We found the motel to be old but very clean and had plenty of towel, soap and hot water. We were notified that the...

There are no other lodgings in or around Copake. But not to worry - Johanna's is clean and comfy and welcoming. Sure, it's an old fashioned cinder block strip motel out of the 1950s. But it is well maintained. The owners used to close up for the winter, but this year Johanna, I gather newly widowed, won't be traveling and...

We just picked Johanna's off the web and didn't really know what to expect. We were delighted to find the room immaculate and nicely furnished and Angela, our hostess, welcoming, accommodating, and engaging. PS, the rates are very reasonable!

The room where we stayed was comfortable, but there was a definite stale cigarette or some other type of chemical smell, which made our throats tingly. The bed was pretty comfy, especially the pillows - they pretty much put you to sleep right away. It was great to have a fridge in the room. I'm new to motels, but it...

Several of us stayed her for a family wedding that was near by. The prices are good and the rooms are very clean. The motel is getting run down, but it met our basic needs. Note that there is no shampoo, conditioner, iron, blow dryer, phone. And I don't think there is a restaurant onsite although you you can buy...

Johanna's is a good deal We were in a room with a double bed and a large bathroom. There wasnt the usual stale cigarette smell which was refreshing. The only drawback was a very loud air conditioner! The location is perfect...right on route 22 in New York but close to the Massachussetts border

We stayed 3 nights during the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and the room was a welcome site for me every night. I hiked in nearby Bash Bish, Monument Mountain and Mt Greylock state parks which gave me a real workout. So having a clean room with a working shower and bathroom was extremely important to me. Johanna's Motel fit the...

So... glad I did. I needed a place for my husband and his crew while they were doing a roofing job in Millerton. Angela could not had been more helpful. Made reservations, had to change them due to weather, then had to change the number of rooms needed. She was extremely gracious and accommodating. When they returned home, She was...
