Stopped in Cooperstown for Father's Day. We stayed in the two bedroom 3rd floor suite. Penney the owner offered a rollaway bed so each of our kids could have their own beds but still be in the same room together. The kids loved having their own area with their own small TV. We had a very nice breakfast with fruit,...

Decided to abandon the usual Hotel/Motel route and chose Nelson Avenue Pines Bed & Breakfast instead. That decision was a good one. Owner/Operator Penney Gentile made our all-too-brief stay in Cooperstown a great one. The Victorian house is located just outside (walking distance really) the town of Cooperstown. The Blue Room was perfect for my wife and I. I will...

This B &B was perfect for a weekend getaway in Cooperstown. A short walk to the center of town and almost next door to the site of the wedding we were attending. Easy to find, great to be able to walk to everything. The owner is gracious. The room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I appreciated the separate...

While spending a night in Cooperstown, the Nelson Avenue Pines was perfect for our stay. This interesting Victorian house was an easy walk to the center of town so no parking problems. We wanted our grandsons to have a B&B experience during our travels, and we had a 2 bedroom suite which worked perfectly for the 4 of us. The...

We spent one night here on our way to Boston. Loved the character in this old home, yet the bathroom was large, clean, and up-to-date. Location is perfect on a quiet street, but still within easy walking distance to the center of town. Owner Penney was very gracious, and a great conversationalist while serving our delicious breakfast. We found we...

We recently stayed at this b&b. It was our first time ever staying in one. The owner, Penny, was super nice and outgoing. She made us feel comfortable. The home was very close to everything, great location. The side door was open for us to come and go. The breakfast was great and we had great conversations with the other...

We just returned from a one night stay at the Nelson Ave. Pines. The owners, Penny and her slightly qwirky son Rob were quite warm and welcoming. Breakfast was quite nice, and they even offered to whip up some gluten free pancakes for me, but the yogurt, eggs and fruit was plenty. Nice location, but basically anywhere in Cooperstown in...

We stayed three nights and enjoyed everything about it. The rooms were charming, clean, spacious, and quiet. I was surprised that I didn't hear any other guests coming or going. The B&B is located across the street from the lake and is close to downtown. Our hosts were both generous and kind, and I would stay here again on our...

This is the 1st time staying at a B&B and my husband and I were hesitant. This was a lucky draw as it is peaceful, beautiful and Penny knows how to make a great breakfast! There also teas, coffees and biscottis always available to you. Perfect walking distance to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Nicoletta's Restaurant...another five star! Looking...

The proprietor makes you feel at home the minute you walk in. The house is cozy and warm with a delightful porch to relax on warm summer days. The location is a short walk to the golf course, downtown and lake. One can find great restaurants without having to drive. You are pampered during your visit with any needs taken...
