Beautiful views! Amazing furnishings. Friendly and hardworking hosts! We stayed in the Denali Room which is rustic, and gorgeous. The deck overlooking the lake is the best spot, especially to drink your morning coffee. We definitely recommend staying here. We had a great time.

What a lovely place! The views and setting were gorgeous. The furnishings were rustic, but in a stylish, beautiful way. Very cozy, woodsy vibe, coupled with views and decks and balconies overlooking the lake. We had a great time, ending nights at the opera with nightcaps on the balcony under shimmering stars, watching boat lights on the lake below us....

If you enjoy spacious, serene, beautiful surroundings in remote locations, this is the place for you. We enjoyed watching deer off our balcony in the early mornings and stars in the late evenings (after the opera at Glimmerglass 20 minutes away). Our living areas (we had 3) were spacious and comfortable with good lighting, common areas, and places to read....

We were in Cooperstown for the Glimmerglass Festival numerous times this year and this lodge is a favorite. We stayed in the Denali Room for three nights in August. The room was pristine and so comfortable with a Jacuzzi and a lovely porch where we sat with our morning drinks. The mattress was incredible and the sheets luxurious - one...

I can't resist replying to the hateful review recently posted. We've stayed at the Lodge four times in three years - others have been returning for many years. This is one of our favorite places - anywhere. Yes, the road is rutted but this is more than compensated by what's in store at its end. The Adirondack decor is charming...

The first indication that booking this place was a mistake was that there were no refunds once you booked the room. The picture of the room must have been taken on a very sunny, bright day because the room we saw was dark and uninviting. The second indication that we had made a mistake was on the drive up to...

Our records indicate, that on August 3, 2016 at 9:37 a.m. I received an email showing that I had a “pending” online booking for a one night stay in the Adirondack Room for August 10, 2016. This is important to mention since one of the questions that must be answered in completing the online reservation is “How many people are...

No expense has been spared on this million dollar hideaway in the virgin forest overlooking Otsego Lake. Abutting institutionally protected virgin land, the sprawling but highly private Cooperstown Lakeview Lodge offers rooms with private decks, solariums and common rooms bedecked with carefully constructed rustic furniture, marvellous antiques, hardwood floors, Italian rose marble sink and kitchen tops and airy ventilation plus...

Never having stayed at a B&B, my husband and I didn't know what to expect. Well, hosts Bridgette and Lou set the bar to its highest for any other accommodation we may ever need! We chose Lakeview for the second leg of our 25th Anniversary Trip and Bucket List Tour. We came for the Baseball Hall of Fame, but left...

Situated outside of baseball town, Cooperstown, easy to get too, maybe the last 1/4 mile a seasonal road but hey, go slow and once you arrived its worth the slowness. Ample parking and I believe a hostess who greets all and if needed, will assist if needed, she is extremely pleasant, informative, etc...etc...the way one should be having a B...

Nestled away from the crowded streets of Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame - yet close enough to take advantage of the fine restaurants and many baseball shops. We were there for family involved in the Baseball All Stars, and although being there for family - The Lakeview Lodge provided a private vacation spot as well. Our room -...
