Delightful. The room we chose overlooked the historic Clinton Town Green and Gazebo. We were warmly greeted by our host Susan, who is delightful! Upon entering our room around sunset and gazing out of the windows we looked out at a magical scence. A dusting of snow and all the trees lit up for Christmas with little twinkling white lights...one...

This B &B is in the center of The village of Clinton. I love the fact that you can walk all over town from here. We were in town for a High School reunion and as usual had a great time staying with Susan and Tim. We have stayed there many times and would not stay any where else when...

We lucked out and were able to get a room on Fallcoming weekend. Our son was visiting Hamilton, and the B&B certainly helped add to the warm and welcoming experience we had all weekend long. We're looking forward to many more trips! PS Yes, the fire department alarm went off early one morning - not a big deal.

We have stayed at this B&B before but recently had a relatively long stay there while visiting family. Over that time our hosts Susan and Tim managed to strike a balance between providing gracious hospitality and comfortable friendliness. We appreciated the healthy breakfasts, being able to come and go freely, and a good bed! The other guests were always interesting...

The Artful Lodger is the best Bed and Breakfast we have ever found. Its proprietors, Tim and Susan Sweetland (a name that reflects their personalities), have become like members of the family over the last 5-years in which we stayed in the establishment literally a dozen times or more. While our daughter, Sara, attended nearby Hamilton College, we were lucky...

This is a warm and inviting family friendly atmosphere. The queen room was spotless and beautifully decorated which made us feel at home. The breakfast menu contained the right choices for even the pickiest of eaters and they were all delicious. The host and hostess provided enough information about the area to make your stay enjoyable. The location was perfect...

While this house is cute enough, there is an incredibly loud emergency and fire dept. alarm across the street. As we were retiring, the owners warned us about it. It went off twice, once at 10:00 pm and once in the middle of the night. It woke all four of us and I for one did not fall back asleep....

We are so sorry the fire horn disturbed your sleep. We agree that it is louder than it needs to be, and will take your concern to the Village Board,

We really enjoy visiting new B&Bs and this was one of the nicest we have been to. Service was friendly without being obtrusive, the room was spacious and spanking clean, and the breakfast was extremely pleasant and tasty. It was nice to have appealing restaurant choices within walking distance, and little extra touches were abundant and appreciated. We hope to...

This is an extremely elegant B&B! Tastefully decorated, peaceful and relaxing, situated across the green in the beautiful village of Clinton. Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. What more can you say? Good places to eat only a few yards away.

We stayed for one night in April as part of a week of college visits. The place is certainly beautiful, but when I spoke with the owner the vibe I got was been there, done that, I'll answer your question but don't expect more. What was most frustrating is that we needed to leave by 8:15 in the morning to...

We're glad you appreciated the beauty of our inn, and sorry you were late for your appointment. For future stays (and future travelers), our hot breakfast service begins promptly at 8 every morning, with much of the preparation happening "behind the scenes". An innkeeper's day is very long, and we have learned over time the importance of keeping to a...
