Last night of my west to east bicycle tour of upstate New York was spent at the Pineapple House in Canajoharie New York. It is a wonderful place to stay. Very accommodating, and pleasant hosts Janine & Bill. Room was immaculate , tastefully appointed, and with a great selection of reading material. Breakfast was started with a beautiful colorful fruit... More

What a find!! We got stuck on our bicycling tour and were not able to find a place to stay and were given The Pineapple House as a referral. We rode all day in the rain, arrived looking like drowned rats and were greeted warmly by Bill at the back door and welcomed in. The Nelsons are just the perfect... More

Just ten minutes after we arrived, I had to remind myself that I was in someone else's house and at least ought to ask before helping myself to a glass of water. Janine and Bill were so welcoming, I immediately felt as comfortable in their kitchen as in a dear friend's. The house was both beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pineapple House B & B. The Nelsons are excellent hosts, even staying up with us to greet our daughter and her family until fairly late into the night. Room was clean and we had everything we could need. Breakfast was excellent. Mr. Nelson even went so far as to take us to visit... More

Five Star Experience in every way. The hosts - Janine and Bill - have created a real gem. The property is a lovely mid-19th century home that they have spared no effort and expense in restoring to a truly lovely home. The rooms were a feast for the eyes, comfortable, furnished with many lovely touches. The breakfast was delicious and... More

Janine and Bill know how to run a B&B! The accommodations were VERY clean, cozy and comfortable. They directed us to a delightful little Italian restaurant in the quaint downtown. If it hadn't been raining, we could have enjoyed a nice walk to dinner. Breakfast the next morning was homemade and very filling. Janine was quite helpful with information so... More

Just cycling through... We stayed up late asking questions about local history. Our hosts were very friendly, helpful, and entertaining. We slept well and enjoyed the bountiful breakfast with their signature egg creation served in ramekins. They had secure storage for our bicycles and even provided a bicycle pump (and the manpower) to inflate a flat tire.

We had a wonderful time at the Pineapple House B&B in Canajoharie. Janine and Bill are warm and friendly and their home is beautifully decorated and immaculate. Our grandson was playing baseball at Cooperstown so we did not have time to enjoy the Hall of Fame or the museums in the area. We are planning to go back and it... More

The Pineapple House Bed and Breakfast was a delightful place for an overnight stay during our recent trip to Canajoharie. We often travel to the Fenimore museum in Cooperstown, and this summer we wanted to see their special exhibit of American Impressionists. This is normally a day trip for us. However, when we read that there were more works on... More
